i just use sony in my cars these days:grin: but i'm sure Boston George or pstyle can help u out. As far as the enclosure goes u need plywood, tools, ablity to use a measuring tape, and some sort of sealer.

rockford has a nice tutorial on building boxes.

medium density fiberboard - you can get it at lowes, home depot, 84 lumber... any basic wood shop...

it would sound like shit
as far as cheap
look on ebay for some
kicker cvrs
10's or 12's will sound better but if you are just trying to be loud grab yourself a 15 or 2
you can go cheaper if you like and can get pretty lound whith about any brand but to sound good you will not wanna go cheap
depending on what you get if it is decent brand you will be able to go to there website and get specs for boxes (kicker is great for this)
build your box out of 3/4 mdf (21$ per 4'x8' sheet at lowes as of yesterday)
elmers wood glue and wood screws to sucure it togather and liquid nail to calk the inside
