sold out in 2-3 minutes, mostly online and 'phone sales. People who queued overnight and were 10th in line missed out. Tickets appeared next day on e-bay. Report suggest that angry RATM fans are making phoney bids, with one ticket reaching over $150k AU with 24 hours left on it's auction.:hehe: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1-x-Rage-Against-The-Machine-Ticket-GA-Festival-Hall_W0QQitemZ270170541227QQihZ017QQcategoryZ59970 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What are oddthought thoughts on ticket scalping? Evil profiteering taking affordable tickets away from legitimate fans, or just good business that is unfairly banned so that the big promoters don't have to share profits with "the little guy"?

idk, i think its legit. its just like when xbox 360 or ps3 came out. people bought from the stores and then sold on ebay for a ton of money. there was no bitching then when should there be bitchin now?

I guess the main difference is that the people who didn't get the new console str. away still got one a week or three later. Nintendo and Sony just keep pumping them out. Some of these concerts are 1 time opportunities, RATM haven't toured here forever...

It sucks for fans that were waiting in line just to find out they were SOL.
