Say i was to have a "hot" ipod. How could i get music on it if i do not download itunes?

Well windows media player wont recognize the device and yahoo jukebox says it needs usage rights so i was looking for a prgram i could use to get the stuff on the ipod

what OS are you using??

shouldnt you be able to put it in and the pc recognise it as a portable device??

ive never had an ipod either lol. going off of hat my mp3 player used to do.

Im using winodws xp and my mp3 works fine on yahoo juke box and wmp but the ipod is recognized by the cpu and yahoo jukebox but not wmp but yahoo jukebox says it needs media usage rights to add the music to the ipod

just download itunes

you can load YOUR music on the Ipod using Itunes.. You just won't get any music from Itunes itself..

yh only thing you can do is install itunes and put all yah music in there by dragging it if it is in wma it will convert and once you plug the ipod in it will sync the ipod with your itunes library
