You could go for Muzik, Dance Ejay, Rave Ejay etc...
But if you're wanting to produce something that sounds professional (even remotely professional), FruityLoops is really the easiest, other than that (in the all in one department), there's Reason... which is the only other good all in one I can think of.
Other than that there's CakeWalk (which is like FruityLoops), Re-Birth (which comes with a set of synths that have been discontinued, you won't find them any where else unless you have a spare 10 grand), ACID (which is more for sampling then arranging (what I used to make bootlegs in :) ), SoundForge for cleaning your samples up... or a free program called Audacity, which is similar to ACID.

Well if there are too many plug-in's for you with FruityLoops, then Reason is going to be your worst nightmare :hidey:
Re-Birth is definitely worth getting, it's just a software rack by the way, you're going to need a sequencer like ACID or Cubase to actually make anything more than a loop, but it's pretty simple.
CakeWalk... I wouldn't bother with. It's made by the same people that make FruityLoops, you're going to find the exact same annoyances.
As for Muzik... it's a pretty old game for the Playstation lol, i'm not sure if there is a recent version. The Ejay programs are basically the same... as in very very simple, and pretty old.
