I'm reading A brief history of time by Stephen Hawking. Its hard to follow if you don't have some knowledge of astronomy and physics. fascinating read even if you don't.

Steven Hawkings in my library
My MySpace page is all totally pimped out
I got people begging for my top 8 spaces
Yo I know Pi to a thousand places
Ain't got no grills but I still wear braces
I order all of my sandwiches with mayonnaise
I'm a whiz at minesweeper I can play for days
Once you see my sweet moves you're gonna stay amazed,
my fingers movin' so fast I'll set the place ablaze
There's no killer app I haven't run
At Pascal, well, I'm number 1
Do vector calculus just for fun
I ain't got a gat but I gotta soldering gun
Happy days is my favourite theme song
I can sure kick your butt in a game of ping pong
I'll ace any trivia quiz you bring on
I'm fluent in Java Script as well as Klingon
Here's the part I sing on
They see me roll on, my Segway!
I know in my heart they think I'm
white n' nerdy!
Think I'm just too white n' nerdy
Think I'm just too white n' nerdy
Can't you see I'm white n' nerdy
Look at me I'm white n' nerdy
I'd like to roll with-
The gangsters
Although it's apparent I'm too
White n' nerdy
Think I'm just too white n' nerdy
I'm just too white n' nerdy
How'd I get so white n' nerdy?
lmao jk man seeing his name just made me think of that song

I actually found that to be a pretty good book even though even though the one I read was in audio (I hate audiobooks)

1. Anabasis by Xenophon - it's a first hand, historical, account of 10,000 Greek mercenaries and their march to the Black Sea and safety following the battle of Cunaxa in 410BC.
2. Mud, Blood and Poppycock by Gordon Corrigan - About WW1, a little revisionist for my taste but a good read nonetheless.
3. The Battle of Long Tan by Robert Grandin - an account of the battle fought by an Australian force against overwhelming odds in the Vietnam war.

if you like physics, and similar topics i suggest you read 'The World Treasury of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy' It's a collection of the works of many great minds including Stephen Hawking, among others.
I picked it up at a bargain bin at some big-chain bookstore when i was 15, but now 8 years later it's really hard to find. maybe amazon or ebay/half.com, look around. but it's an excellent informative book. i learned more about physics and math from that book than all other sources.

Hm... I really need to finish Romance of the three Kingdoms, I've started reading it three times, and I keep getting stuck on the last 200-300 pages or so.
But right now I'm reading The Great Hunt, by Robert Jordan.
