somebody tried to break into the new home!!!!

The alarm company (of which we just installed a week ago today) called yesterday that our alarm went off. Ed went back to the house as he was 5 min away and the house was locked up still....the alarm comapny came today to do a check of the situation. It appears that somebody tried to push the door in but when the alarm went off they were scared away....HOW SCARY IS THAT SOMEBODY IS WATCHING US, KNEW WE LEFT FOR WORK AND TRIED TO BREAK INTO THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your system was just installed. and they fucked up. a sensor was set off only because it wasnt set up properly. so they show up fix the problem and fill your head with scary stories about how you almost got robbed but we saved you.

Its not nice to think that someone was watching you but it's good that the alarm company were on the ball and that the would-be burglars were scared off.

Try not to dwell on it too much but also check that all other possible entry points are totally secure.. window locks etc

Daytime robberies are quite common and easy to do. They just knock on the door, if no one answers, they just kick the door open and steal your shit. My sister had a boyfriend a long time ago, did that shit all the time.

i agree with brr, they wouldn't tell u if it was their fault. Since u just had it installed it would look bad on them.

But on the other hand, it is possible they watched to see what times u left for work in the morning to get an idea of a time to break in...Here in the queen city, 2 guys kicked in a door where 2 couples lived, pistol whipped the guys, raped the girls and made the load their cars with their electronics and drove them to an atm machine and made them draw all their money out of their accounts, dropped them on a corner and stole thier cars....just a week before that they think they had done the same to another couple about 5 blocks away.

during the superbowl i looked outside and thought i saw someone standing next to my car but they walked away a second later, then about 10 minutes later i looked up and the car door was open, i was like oh shit. i asked my brother if he saw anything he said he say a guy running away wearing a como jacket, in all i lost a cd player. but not even a hour later my friends car alarm went off and he went out and saw a truck driving away really fast. it occured to me later that if your going to try getting into someones car the superbowl would be a great time since most people are busy watching the game
