Serj Tankian - Elect the Dead

I know this album has been out a while now but fuck me I just can't get enough of it. Its like the album for old school SOAD fans in that Serj does all the vocals! Well he does everything actually. Its one of the very best albums i've ever heard, full stop. I can't even pick out favourite songs cause they're all so brillant.
If you're a metal/alterative fan YOU MUST OWN THIS ALBUM. Even if you're not give it a go, it transends genre, pure musical heaven.

well ok yeah its good and serj is an awsome guy but i just cant help thinking that i am lieing to myself my saying i like it, when i asked myself would i still like it if it wasnt serj i then made my mind up that its just an average album that would be listened to again

and how dare you compare it to soads first album (lol) i still listen to that album almost every day and have done for the last 7 years, all in all i belive soad should get back together and realease another album for 2008

but i cant help thinking that it was daron that drove soad apart

it's a great album, but i could really do without 'honking antelope' it's the only song on the entire album that i cannot listen all the way through it, and don't get me wrong i love alot of their really fucked up songs, but i can't get through that track without meds lol

I got the album and the opening song Empty Walls is the one i'm stuck on at the moment.
