comcast cable co. is capping uploads so that people using them an isp cant upload files/fileshare but they can still download torrents lol but if this keeps up and other isps start doing this fileshareing will be no more

my uncle fileshares heavily for a site that shares grateful dead music (witch is legal to torrent/file share )and comcast caped his uploads

All ISP's can't do this, their are plenty of business users that have legitimate reasons for huge amounts of uploading, the worst that can happen is that you will have to fork out for a faster, premium uncapped Line.

if all ISP's wanted to do it then they could. they would be able to make a "business" speed which is able to allow uploading etc.

This is old news.. Luckily Comcast where I'm at hasn't enforced it yet. I heard you can get around this though by encrypting the packets so that Comcasts Torrent packet sniffer can't tell its a torrent.

LOL Usenet is soo 90s dude..It takes forever to get them and you usually have to subscribe to another usenet service since most ISPs don't archive enough of them so you can get the whole file.

Usenet is pretty good and you can get ALOT of obscure shit from it but honestly it takes a much higher technical competence to use it. I use to grab all my Dreamcast cames from the Usenet groups back in the day.
