ok just got my SATA to IDE convertors.
Plugged them in and now only my main HDD works....
how can i make the other one work aswell :|
and do i need to have 2 power cords plugged into the HDD?? i mean 1 in the sata card other in the actuall hdd

I think the Sata card is supposed to pass power to your IDE drive as a pass through..
You have a SATA card for both drives?

yeah got the SATA for both HDD. and i am using IDE for my DVD burner.
my main HDD is working fine. and boy is it fast :|
dont know how i lived without the speed last time lol.
do i have to install something else or is it just something i have missed in the BIOS??

Do you have to have the IDE drive set to master? I'm just wondering if its a setting on either the card or the HD itself.

well on the actual HDD i have it set to master with the pins. and the other is on slave

OK and each HD has its own card right? You can only have one device on each SATA cable so I think both need to be set to master. Since they are primary on their own SATA chain.
