oh noez the admins have done it again !!!

What started this?
Pleb pointed out that the value of money is too high in V2 B-Games wherefore I adjusted the settings. Unfortunately, what seemed to be a minor issue at first started a chain reaction with a result that wasn't exactly minor any longer. The good news is that the admins don't need an occupational therapy.

technical stuff (move on if you can't be bothered to read this)
We added a new feature that adds bonus tokens/money based on a referral system. This feature hasn't been completely incorporated yet and it does alter the users table which holds data such as tokens, money and so on. By altering one room and applying the new money value to all rooms, the referral system apparently decided to have a funny second and thus kept us on our toes. As a result, players received ~600 tokens in addition to what they already had. Unfortunately, this only affected those that weren't maxed out which made it the recovery rather tricky.

Intermission
If you are still reading my crap, I have to thank you for putting up with the evil admins and their bullshit. You deserve a break to prepare yourself for the second half of this post though. I would suggest to let this kitten (http://teo.esuper.ro/wp-content/images/cute_cat01.jpg) put a magical smile on your face - god that lil thang is sooooooo cute, it makes your head explode.

Damage management & consequences
I've raised the token limit temporarily in order to avoid that you are missing tokens. Rit has adjusted the tokens of everyone who has had more than the maximum limit. Some players however spend their extra tokens quickly enough to escape his evilness. Those players shouldn't laugh quite yet though, as I've prepared some maths to deal with you later. In case you end up with negative tokens, you know what happened. I expect to see at least 2 threads made by people who couldn't be arsed to read this though. Watch out for the drama strumpets.
As far as the drop in worth is concerned, it's the obvious consequence of a decreased money value. Once you spend a token your worth will be recalculated and, depending on the money in your pockets, go down.

What lesson did we learn from this?
For the future, we will have a neat feature to move the game back in time. If something major happens that can't be restored, we'll set it back to the last safe recovery point which should be 6-12 hours ago. I'm truly sorry about the chaos you had to put up with, and I do mean that. Now, let's remember to breathe and get some yogi tea.

What's the point of this thread?
There really is no point at all. I just thought I'd make something random up to see what sort of chicken rants you'd come up with. I declare this thread to be AIW outside of the AIW section with one constraint: you may only attempt to offend admins.

I'm a little disappointed that we've only received two submissions from members who made use of the offer in my previous post to contact customer service. This offer has hereby expired.
