My favourites are the Caroline Panthers QB and WR. (I can't remember their names.)
That would be QB Jake Delhomme and WR Steve Smith. Both good players, especially Smith.
My favs are, in no particular order: Walter Jones, Corey Simon, Sabatian Janikowski, Travis Minor, Leon Washington, Laverneous Coles, Peter Boulware, Samari Rolle, B.J. Ward, P.K. Sam, A.J. Nicholson, Dexter Jackson, Paul Irons, Kamerion Wimbley, Orpheus Roye, Willie Reid, Bryant McFadden, Sam Cowart, Chris Hope, Javon Walker, Craphonso Thorpe, Brett Williams, Zack Crockett, Derrick Gibson, Antonio Cromartie, Pat Watkins, Michael Jennings, Eric Moore, William Tra Thomas, Brodrick Bunkley, Ernie Sims, Brad Johnson, Warrick Dunn, Chauncey Davis, Chris Weinke, Adrian McPherson, Tony Bryant, Tommy Polley, Greg Spires, Derrick Brooks, Anquan Boldin, Darnell Dockett, Peter Warrick, Michael Boulware, Alonzo Jackson, Ray Willis, Alex Barron, Scott Player, Milford Brown, Montrae Holland, Todd Fordham, Travis Johnson, Eric Powell
And those would be the 50+ former FSU Seminoles currently on NFL rosters. Damn that would make one hell of a team, including a Super Bowl winning QB, Super Bowl MVP, NFL defensive MVP, Heisman winner, as well as countless Pro Bowlers. Even a kicker and punter.
*runs off to trade everyone to one team on Madden*

i like brad johnson he's a player thats been done wrong to many times in the nfl. Another is Trent dilfer how do u win the superbowl and then not even be signed by a team the year after?

For whatever reason NFL player personel execs just tend to fuck up and fuck up a lot. They try too hard to fit everyone into a nice pretty physical mold and ignore a lot of other intangibles that go into great or just plain productive players.
Dilfer and Johnson aren't anyone's ideal qb. They don't look pretty out there. They don't have a gun for an arm. They aren't the cowboy take charge personailty. So they can't be good right? Tell that to the teams that lost to them in the Super Bowl.

i'm glad my Vikes have him (Johnson) again.
eyez- for all those FSU players and only one solid RB out of them. lol
i'd think they'd have more, but it probably relates to their style of offense versus the pros.
it's hard to pick one fav player... my fav Viking is Antoine Winfield

if denny greene hadn't wen't on his HAVE TO HAVE a black qb, minnosota would have atleast 2 superbowl rings, in the years he benched johnson for cunningham and culpepper. The fact is a qb that rushes alot won't stay healthy thru the post-season and the superbowl. Alot of qb's can't make it with the amount of times he is sacked, how are u going to make it when u take an avg of 10 more hits a game than a pocket qb?
Also can u really say rothelsburger (sp) is a great passer? he is the same style as johnson and dilfer, i wonder what rothelsburger avg pass attempts a game was 17-20?

yeah.. think of the Vikings '98 & '99 defense as well if he would've allowed Tony Dungy to make his defensive selections.
Two misses i can see. Derrick Alexander instead of Warren Sapp & i think? Duane Clemons instead of Derrick Brooks...
Denny's never been a good D talent evaluator.

I truly believe Peyton will be remembered as the greatest QB ever by the time he retires. Brady has a great start, but watching Manning last year at the Cincy game... he's even more incredible when you see him live.
So here's mine...
QBs: Jim Kelly, Montana, Manning, Kellen Clemens, Favvvvvreh
RBs: Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders,Thurman Thomas, Edgerrin James, Terrell Davis, Maurice Morris, Reuben Droughns, Onterrio Smith (don't laugh),
WRs: Tory Holt, Andre Reed, Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, Cris Carter, Sammy Parker, Keenan Howry, Demetrius Williams, Lee Evans
TEs: Shannon Sharpe, Zach Hilton, George Wrighster
OL: Steve Hutchinson, Gary Parker, Frank Winters, Tony Boselli, Rueben Brown
K: Vinietari
P: Josh Bidwell
DL: Bruce Smith, Haloti Ngata, Igor Olshansky
LB: Peter Sirmon, Wesley Mallard, Sam Cowart, Ray Lewis, London Fletcher, Takeo Spikes
DB: Nate Clements, Deion Sanders, Alex Molden, Ken Hamlin, Troy Polamalu, Marcus Trufant
Coach: Lombardi, Marv Levy, Bellicheck
OK - so there's a ton more... but I'll stop there
*Laughs at all the Eugene folk, at least I didn't catch a Dan Fouts in there
**And at least you managed to pick up my 2 favorites of all time :orign:
