So as insomnia hits yet again this Wednesday morning I find myself roaming over to the old forum, haven't been there for probably 2 years or so. While listening to this kick ass soundtrack on this mod site I stumbled Across: http://www.enterprise-tcw.com/website/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/lang,en/
I begin to read over my old posts in the serious discussion sub forum (ah was I a character) and not to mention I used shit like "y" to substitute "why" (which is a big ass pet peeve of mine now).
Then I come across some random post of me calling you guys (as in older forum members) of a bunch of misguided Bush haters.lol How things change
So now I figured I start this thread to ask everyone what is a topic or side of an argument that you have completely changed stances on over the course of time in yer life, and why?
EDIT: Thought I was posting this in Serious Discussion, strange. And you can't delete yer own thread before replies. What a bitch

Well, I was, and am still somewhat of a Bush supporter. I support most of what's going on with our military, but cannot support what he's done with energy prices. I pay nearly as much for a gallon of Gas in Chile, a country that produces 0 petroleum. I live at the end of the world down there and all gas is imported, and I'm paying nearly as much there as it cost me the other day here in Boise, Idaho! That is truely disgusting, and I cannot stand behind him on that.
I believe he's done the best with what he was handed over other than his energy policy, so I don't have too much to complain about otherwise. I guess I do have a beef with the TSA shit. That's a ridiculous system... but I really don't want to get into that one.
Would I vote for him again if I could? Nope. If Hillary was my only other option... God damn straight I would!
Confused? Good! LOL

When it comes to presidential elections, I have what I consider to be a perfect record. I haven't voted for a president that has made into office yet.
I don't believe the Republicans/Democrats or "Republicrats" have anything to offer unless you enjoy the status quo.
Being a staunch supporter of personal freedom and limited government interference, I have always voted Independent or Libertarian, but I know for a fact I'll be voting Republican this primary.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
He's got my vote!
