Live OR Recorded?

which do u prefer and why? also after seeing a band live has it ever made u dislike them afterwards?

I prefer live but I also prefer small concerts. I saw dave matthews in the rose bowl and even though he has some really good songs.. there was no point in being there because i was hella far away and in the back (its all around the stage). Also every time the crowd screamed i couldn't hear anything.

I think it really depends on the type of music... I really prefer folk music live...

I saw Godsmack live and after that I was totally turned off by em

So *shrugs* it may really just depend on the band, how much tweaking was done to prefect them in the studio to make the track perfect and then you hear it live and your like eh... ermm that was the same song?

I'd have to say it depends on the band, some bands I prefer live, others the studio stuff is better.

I can't really see a live performance ever making me dislike a band, possibly garauntee that I won't go to see them again, but if the studio stuff is good then I'll listen to it.
