Have one shipped brick by brick from Italy. It's your only choice...A happy wife is a happy husband.

lol, Vinnie prefers his beers and buds. You may keep your reality. ;P
I figure the first deck I ever built was octagonal, with radial planking. Ppl who saw it freshly painted thought it was moulded plastic! (I'm THAT damn good) so I figure my first ever brick construction may as well something challenging as well.

a wood burning brick oven would be sweet!

tho, to install one in a house that wasn't designed for one would be a major undertaking and quite costly. the building codes for wood burning appliances here in US can be very difficult to meet. hell, just building the chimney/triple-wall stack can cost over a thousand dollars to install! then, if building it on second floor will require framing a structure on the floors below to support the weight. If all that ain't enough, a firewall has to be built adjacent to appliance, and about a 4ft. radius buffer zone must be maintained where nothing can be right next to it.

maybe consider building outdoor brick oven/smoker/B-B-Q? be alot cheaper and safer, and if you built one of good quality using steel frame lined with clay insert or fire-bricks with a brick outer housing, you could use it daily just like normal oven.

...just sayin..
