Once again, multi's have ruined this round of WWII. It was polan...imagine that. I think that when someone makes multi's like he did this round (and many before it), it deserves a week-long IP address ban. The 24 hour ban doesn't deter him from comming right back and messing it up again. 1st offense, a week-long ban, 2nd offense, life-long IP ban. There needs to be a message sent to these worthless fucks who just care to mess up games.

IP bans aren't always a solution.. in fact, it rarely ever is

i still like the idea of sending a confirmation email with a link to click to activate your membership to the site. if someone wants to make 25 emails for 25 multis they really have no life. this will slow the making of multis. it wont stop it but between the confirmation and the mods doing their jobs of banning those that do creat multis it will help ALOT

you volunteering to set that up then?

it's unfortunate that accounts just cant be locked out of some games

as for infidel's comment -- ludicrous... what is "fun" for you is fucking up a game for others... the fact you dont give a fuck is all the more reason for more lengthy bans

yeah, that and paying mods would go a long way. Considering many of us turn buyers spend upwards of $40 a month on this site. I'd like to think the moderators could be compensated. Compensated people tend to work a little harder.

good thinking!
i think it must be shite being a mod at times.

IP's and default gateways #'s are changeable, I know. but something that isnt changeable is a MAC Address (nothing to do with Apple Macintosh, although they have one), which is similar to an IP Address except it's an unchangeable ID that identifies the actual product (computer, or anything that can be connected to a network)

but this is harder to access for mods, but maybe not impossible, so therefore we can block potential multis with 4 different methods of prevention, ID# block, ip block, default gateway block (so they cant just use another comp in the house or on the network) and finally if possible, MAC Address blocks

having fun or cheating ?? cause you do realize that you are in essence a cheater when you go and fuckup the games for ppl like me with your multi making (excuse me having fun). i dont buy turns for that specific reason and to be honest i want a premmie but not if i gotta play with a self-professed cheat:tantrum:Personally i think it brings the level of competition down because im sure more than 3/4 of the ppl who have been here more than 6 months feel the same as i do. and whos to say that if you do it in wwII you wont dont it in 5tb/p or empires and nr:fu:. the real fucked up part is that i thought you were a fairly good player , guess i need to reevaluate my judgement of character

instead of cheating you should try this --->>>(rr)

in my opinion any one found to be running multis should be named and shamed and banned for a given period regardless of what game they playing

Trouble is, too many people have got away with too much in the past... The mods, and ultimately Treadon, have brought this situation upon themselves.

And yes, I do know that mods were told to be lenient with cheats. Which is why we're in the situation of having people making dozens of accounts to cheat with.

for a guy who puts funny shit in your sig, i'd figure you'd be able to tell when im joking especially after that message i sent you and the forum thread i made with all the responses. lol you need to chill man

edit:
as for killing myself over a GAME, i think it'd cause more grief than joy, even if it is me. you'd probably end up naming the banker who achieves a 100 banking score the "Infidel Banker" or some shit like that

That is a great idea. I remember you sayin sumthin about that in the past. It couldn't possibly be that hard to set it up. Fuck, I'll set it up for a 6 month free premi! Haha. But that is a really good idea. It would take 10 minutes or so to set up a new e-mail account, then they'd have to wait for the conformation code, then their multi would be active. Granted, there would be a couple multi's, but it SHOULD drasticly reduce the number of them. Like polan, made what was it, 3-4 multi's in WWII the other day and fucked the game up? He could have possibly only made one, and maybe he would have decided not to make any at all. Good idea fag boy!

Also...something should be done about deliberate cheaters. Nastyshag and coalition in perticular. coalition always joins axis for the sole purpose of busting us wide open. just because she is fucking horrible at every game she touches, she has to cheat and ruin the game for a whole team. she is also posting our positions in game talk, and coordinating with a n00b on allies to 00 us. she is disclosing team information and fucking up the game just so we lose. she needs to be banned for atleast a week so the fucking cunt gets the picture that cheating is not tollerated!!!
