funny thing bout that fish tho... its name is the goliath grouper, it just hot changed recently from Jewfish cause people thought it was anti semetic...the reason it was originally called jewfish is cause people thought that is what swallowed jonah in the bible and not a whale

Tung since you are the expert here, do you think this is for real? my friend watched this and said there is no way the guy could have brought it in with that equipment. what is your expert opinion?

They said they had 400lb test line and a 200lb test king fish leader. That's more than enough to bring that fish in. Tell your friend to stick to land sports.

By the e by, according to wiki, this fish is endangered.

definatly could have brought it in with that, actually its almost a little bit of overkill but dude played it safe fishing aruond all that structure...usually 130 lb test is most people will put on them reels and he had 200 lb test with a 00 lb test leader, couldhave brought up titantic with that shit

They are using 200lb leader material as a mainline. The actual leader he is using is 400lb test.

I've listened to it several times and I think it's impossible for anyone to know what he really meant.

OK, but I listened to it with the sound turned on. Also ran it through a Redneck-English translator. ;p

yeah i listned it is kinda confusing but 99% of any fisherman use a heavier leader then a main line cause that way when it gets close to boat they can hand grab the leader and haul it closer or on board..

Then it's settled, no one knows 100% what the fuck they're saying.
