I was $350 dollars richer and I didn't even know it

That's right. Apparently my mother put in $350 into my account without me knowing. When I went to check my balance on-line I was dumbfounded to say the least, I thought there was mistake. Got up and told my mom about it and she just laughed and said "I was wondering when you would catch on, check your balances more often".

wtf is that. I mean I am grateful and all but shouldn't you tell someone that you gave them money :/

Also I am not entirely sure how she did it because it is MY account. You can't anonymously give someone money directly to their debit account can you? I just thought of that so I'll go ask her now.

And It'd be much more fun to get them if I found it out on a surprise, you should appreciate having a mom that does that for you!! And as the other people said, it's no problem to put money into other peoples accounts, you just need their name (and number if you're not in the bank doing it).
I think my account work in a different manner though, it usually has less than I think it should. Maybe I have some kind of reverse function on mine. Surprise withdrawals, complements of some teen hacker in japan:S
