3 shy tomato (#336) A2 $119,000,012
4 surprise tickle (#337) A2 $119,000,012
Just pop up out of the blue and have identical scores late last night. So happens that they were the last two accts in the room (no player past 337). hmm, it must be pure coincidence. :glare:

Jacx asked me to post something in here which I'll hereby do. Considering that I'm not sure what the actual question is, I'll just follow up everything you've said.
They did not "pop up out of the blue". In fact, they have been in the top 10 for almost two weeks unless the logs were fibbing.
As far as identical scores are concerned, it's an old trick that anyone can do if you are familiar with the values of items. Do some research on that if you are interested - this isn't magic.
Only players higher than 10m are listed in the final scores. Therefore, it's possible that there were players with an id higher than #337. Inactive accounts lower than 10m are not shown.
High IDs indicate that players have signed up rather late, but before the medal rooms were locked. Those are likely to have missed 2 up to 4 days of tokens.
Consecutive IDs might (!) indicate multi accounts. However, it wouldn't be the first and not the last time that someone coordinated a registration via instant messenger/phone. Factoring in the fact that hardly anyone signs up after day 1, your mate can sign up hours later and will still end up with a consecutive ID.
Trafficking and donating are just two possible options to compensate for the lost tokens at the beginning of the round.
My verdict is that two friends had a bit of fun together. Whether their motivation was to get attention, to be close to each other on the scoreboard or to wind others up is not for me to decide. Consequently, it most obviously was not coincidence but likely to be planned right from the start.
On a closing note, I'd like to thank you for reporting this. I hope I was able to answer your questions.
That's about as soundly as I've ever seen a room dominated (20 of top 22, except for the cheater)
Congratulations on your gold medal.

I think he meant that during the game he did a player search for #338 and there was no such player.

As I said in my previous post, if you sign up later than day 2, you are likely to be the last player in the room. I don't know if they signed up late on purpose or if they made a spontaneous decision to join the game.
I'm not sure if you remember the cartel that was full of Santas with consecutive IDs. Everyone except for the people who were involved with that were bitching. Surprisingly however, they weren't deleted or disqualified, as they weren't breaking any rules. This happened so many times in the past and I'm convinced we'll see this in the future too. It always gets people running and fortunately it keeps me and John busy as well.
