that guy on portgual who scored 9 goals in one world cup a long time ago

If you mean Eusebio, then possibly. Or Gordon Banks, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst (The only man to score a hat-trick in the Final), Michel Platini, Johan Cruyff or Franz Beckenbaur should be there before many of the names you chose. But I guess it's a subjective thing...

I've gone for Zidane but Marco Van Basten was always the best in my eyes. Lots of good memories seeing fantastic goals from him.

Pele was great... but he had a great team to carry him too.
Maradona was great too... but he had a shite team behind him.

There for IMO Maradona was better than Pele since Pele had a great team to help him in his World Cup success.

Whats the big deal with Pele?
Yeah he was good, but he wasn't a God.
Football was easier back in those days because of fewer people on earth, less known, less competition. So for someone to stand out it wasn't as hard as it is today. Yes they were legends of the time. But against defenders of today's standards, they'd be your average IMO.
Garrincha should be mention more btw. Great player.

Anyway. Maradonna or Riquelme.

u guys r on drugz you have obviously never seen pele play, plus he made soccer where it is, and you cant win the world cup with a shit team no matter how good a couple of players are, also you saw brazil loose to france, brazil may have the best talented players, but you need to be able to brimg them together and really know how they play, pele brought that together when he was captain and he made them win becaquse he was a great captain, i think that pele may not have been tricky like maradona, but he was so powerfull and could pull off anything, maradona had so many mistakes in his carrer, plus the drug addiction, and the fact that he kept on getting red cards,i definately believe that pele is the best then come maradona then zidane
