Well I personally strongly support Ron Paul, despite the statistical impossibility, but I honestly think it's gunna be a black hawaiian...people want "change." and Barrack Obama certainly spits enough rhetoric to seem like he's a change, but he's nothing but a Politician.
But he's gunna win, unless the republicans rig the elections again, but Karl Rove is out....although he is always just a phone call away, and they have many past elections to go by, much experience they have. But Still i wish at the general election everyone put a fill in ballot for Ron Paul....it would be America's best hope.

Count 'em up. 5 but's. Most of which are unnecessary. I think Obama is going to win it. Mostly cause he wants to pull out of Iraq though. People want to see change and he's giving it. His colour will only strengthen racial groups though. There will probably be attempts on his life if he either wins the election or before final day when it's announced.

Here's my problem, and mark my words in 3 years I'll be right. Obama will win, but the problem with obama is he is a bush clone. republican in democrats clothing. He will be controled by the same large companies and will lead america in the same direction as Bush is now. Only thing Obama will do is a fast withdrawal from Iraq causing a bigger problem over there then before. He will push the govt. so far right wing we might as well have a pope in office, and he's not even black. He has one half black parent and he's running around like he's James Brown! Most of his speeches come from the Reagan school of confusion and to top all that off, he's only going to win due to total lack of competition. This country is fucked.
But on a bright note! Few more elections like this one and eventually the American people will start paying attention. (if they can even afford to by that point)

But obama has some GREAT ideas, although it will cost entirely too much money to enforce them. He wants to tax every single company/business who doesn't have a negative carbon string, so every single business that produces any kind of pollution will get a hefty fine. For god's sake, the local super market has meinute traces of pollution! Besides, it's extremely unethical to have a black presedent at this day and age. Maybe in another 100 years or so. YOU just didn't know who he was.

J, if you feel that way about anyone affiliated with the Middle East... stop voting for the wannabe Reganites... thats the regime that is buddy and creator to the last 7 major dictators who "threatened American way of life" of which 5 were from Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.
I would challenge either of you to voice an opinion that reflects knowldge of more than fear. Muslims do not hate you... there are Muslim people, Christian, Isreali, and Atheists who sll hate what America has come to stand for... and what we (by virtue of our elections and rhetoric) support. If you knew the truth and have a soul, you would see why... disagree but see.

get to work... your opinion doesnt matter :P
but seriously Jacx, you bring the attention to the understanding part of world and diplomacy and being a world leader in communication. If the United States can get anyone into office that can show significant change and pushing for a better worldwide economy rather than focusing on just the US, we will see and upward trend in a ''happier'' and more ''peaceful'' world. Outta the people above all have great abilities, unfortunitly we live in the United States where change is hard to understand...
Obama - great leadership and great speaker, takes things to heart and looks like a VERY great leader... but with the Arab name and being black overall americans are narrow minded and stupid.
Clinton - great background and has been in this situation before, has a very good potential, but is a woman... thats gonna hurt her in the polls and has already started to.
McCain - military background. supports Green (environmental issues), i can see him being a great leader and i have followed much of his background throughout the years. Old... <--- plays against him in the younger crowds with the young Obama. McCain has my vote at the current moment just because Bloomsberg is not in the Running.
Huckabee - IMO a JOKE... A vote for him is a Vote for McCain as all News casts have stated. He's very religious as a former pastor. he supports the continuing of the War in Iraq which im okay with, but where are the heart felt issues... Global Warming? environmental issues? Immigration laws??? <--- who cares
This is where John Kerry and Al Gore would be a nice team... but its not going to happen... we need Educated NON SELLOUTS no corrupted political issues... just plain and straight forward...
So as for that being Said the closest to being honest is McCain... please before voting use you minds and research just 10 mins on each person and look at real issues... look at issues that matter, not immigration... why are we worried about immigants when we have millions of ppl with no health care and issues of Global demise from foreign issues of higher severity?

I will grudgingly vote for McCain. My dad lost $1.5 Million in his savings and loan scandal. He's got some skeletons, but most of them are out of the closet.
I hate Clinton. One of her campaign issues, interestingly enough, is NAFTA, which her husband pushed through. She will try to single handedly destroy our medical system, which, although expensive, is arguably the best in the world. She's the biggest conspiracy theorist of our time, and is a hardcore socialist. Can't stand the beotch.
Here's some reading for you all on the Keating 5 (Savings and Loan Scandal...)
The Keating Five were five United States Senators, who were accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The five senators, John McCain (R-AZ) (the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2008 U.S. presidential election), Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), John Glenn (D-OH), Donald W. Riegle (D-MI), were accused of improperly aiding Charles H. Keating, Jr., chairman of the failed Lincoln Savings and Loan Association, which was the target of an investigation by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board.
After a lengthy investigation, the Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that Alan Cranston, Dennis DeConcini, and Donald Riegle had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings, while John Glenn and John McCain had been only minimally involved. The Committee recommended censure for Cranston and criticized the other four for "questionable conduct."
All five of the senators involved served out their terms, but only Glenn and McCain ran for re-election (and were subsequently re-elected).

3 things
1) Seriously - are you old enough to vote? Its been so long I don't remember.
2) Isn't Ron Paul running as a Republican and out of the race?
3) If you don't vote you haven't earned the right to complain. In other words if you chose not to vote then you have no right whatsoever to utter one complaint about the President as you gave up your constitutional right to vote....

Gonna be 20 in a few weeks.
Yeh Ron Paul is pretty much but it doesn't change the fact.
We don't have any rights, thats an illusion. Not a single damn thing will change if either Obama or Clinton or McCain wins....about the only major thing that would change is if McCain wins, if that happens it's sure to push WW3 a few years sooner. Like I've said many times now the only way the U.S. will change is power exchange through war.
