Richmond native (I know his neighbors!) signed with Chigago. How good do you think Da Bulls will be next year with their draft and new acquisition.

Hmm, this news is about a week old but anyway. Signing a 32 yr old unsized center with absolutely no offensive skills and declining defensive skills will be no help whatsoever, plus they'll be paying him 15mil when he's 36yrs old, pretty stupid. The aquisition of PJ Brown and JR Smith from NO for Chandler is a good deal however. Second round of the playoffs is as far as they'll go.

so defense means nothing? I guess I guy who can score 50 pts a game, but can't play defense worth a lick is just awesome? Did you watch the Philadelphia 76ers last year? They couldn't play D worth shit, how far did they go? oh right, no where. Ben Wallace is still the top Defensive player in the NBA and will help immensely

Bold 1. Welcome to todays NBA.
Bold 2. Two words, Phoenix Suns. Ok I'm a Suns fan so I'm abit biased but they don't play D, look how far they got. Amare will be back for the start of next season and they still won't bother playing D, hell you don't need to when your team can score 115 points night in, night out.
Wallace shouldn't have won the DPOTY last year in my opinion, it's about time Bruce Bowen or AK47 were given the award.
Wallace will only get worse on D from here, his stats last year were down from previous years and they'll continue to decline as he loses a step of quickness and his hops.
The Bulls will be good next season, but Miami, New Jersey and Cleveland at least are still ahead of them in the East, not to mention the stacked West.

in the long run this signing is worthless.. but for the next year wallace will definately have a defensive presence for the bulls and will help them to the conference finals but prolly wont beat miami.
Now that Wallace has gone for Detroit its time for Darko to step up :amish:

Erm dude, Darko was traded to Orlando halfway thru last season. They've signed Nazr Mohammed from the Spurs to replace Wallace.

detroit will still be a power house without him. but chicago will be a better team on defense with him in the lineup. they already have the offence .i think it was a good move for both team.
