ok about myself
Im a freshman in highschool and i play football
im in the weightroom everday.. sometimes two times a day
Im 5'5 197 lbs run a 5.1 40yd
my bench is 225
squat 310
My question is i see alot of the upperclassman taking creotine and i wonder if i should take it
i looked up wat is was and said that its safe but ive heard latter on in life it gives u heart probelms...so should i start taking it or no

Googling about it came up with the statements that using it in a very small dosage is going to be ok for supplemental purposes. It is said naturally found in meats and even breast milk. It's when taken in larger doses that they start to find the side effects.
How serious are you at playing football? Sure, you play it now but are you considering it to be your career path? Not many people make it to play on a professional level. If you're considering this just to play on the varsity squad, it probably wouldn't be worth it at all. No one would need that sort of stress and risk just to shave a tenth off your 40.

I am military and I know ALOT of guys who use creotine and It DOES make guys bigger...the problems with it is A. the second you stop losing it all the muscle you had built up while on it tends to turn to fat(Creotine helps to retain water in muscles thus making them able to last longer..i.e better workouts, once the creotine is out of your system the water built up goes off the charts..makes you look soft and squishy)
and the second issue is it boosts your blood pressure, thus making it harder to run/ giving you heart problems in the long run..It works for making you stronger in the short term though

as i am a biology major finishing up on my BS i might have some input you might like to know about, also i am a former HS starter and College player.
i use/used many supps over a large time. still considering on going to a pro tryout as a Halfback.
im 6'0'' 210lbs and run a 4.4 40 just to give ya some small info on myself.

as i am a biology major finishing up on my BS i might have some input you might like to know about, also i am a former HS starter and College player.
i use/used many supps over a large time. still considering on going to a pro tryout as a Halfback.
im 6'0'' 210lbs and run a 4.4 40 just to give ya some small info on myself.

do you feel like you cant gain anymore power? like no matter how much you left daily are you able to put more weight up? if you feel maxed some muscle tech products can really boost you up and are fairly safe and good to take. there are many things you can do...
what are your main goals? especially if your wanting to make a career from it... there are different things that can help in different areas.

you dont need the supps then buddy...lol they would work fast and everything but no need to do your body harm if your still doing 10lbs/3 days.

amazing what sacrifices the freaks make for short term gain!!!
if i was 5'-5'' and 197lbs. the last thing on my mind would be adding bulk to an already taxed heart!

Dude you are still growing, don't take any supplements, watch your diet and don't strain your mussles too much yet, work out work your speed, the strength comes later ;)
