What brought you to DW in the first place?
when i first got the internet i was doing a google search for an online football management game for me and a few friends to play. the top of the list was dopewars online and being stoners at the time just had to give it a go

What was your original name in the game?
the first ever round i played me and a couple of mates had 2 accounts each on my computer [mis-understood the FAQ.] my accounts were 'stuartroost' and drugs_4_u. the round after i used both names in different games but after looking round the forum i saw people saying its better to have just the one name to get noticed so from then on i used drugs_4_u

“Stupid and Contagous” How did you get the name?
it was the second round i played with daqqers that i first used stupid. the round before i was gunned hard in B6 by st.vitus dance and saw that he targeted the same players everywhere if he got good jumps. i decided to change my name to prevent getting hit by him again in my 2 daqqers games but kept drugs_4_u on in reds and A games. i accidently missed the i in contagious and as luck would have it i went on to post my 2 best ever scores by some margain, 1 account earned me 4th overall so from then on i decided to use stupid [spelling error and all] as my primary handle. Stupid and Contagious is part of the 3rd line in the chorus from Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, im a huge Nirvana fan

ive won overall player in B games twice, come 2nd overall in A and 3rd in C games

erm thats a difficult one, i am primarily a B game player, those were the first rounds i played and where most of my success as been but i like to play a few A games as well for a change of pace. i also liked C games at the begining when everyone was experimenting and u could actually worth gun, i actually reakon with a few changes C games could be the best out of the 3

What would be the perfect DW-Style Game for you?
i would say a straight mix of B and C games but with guns and vests equal in woth and gun press efficiency/production toned down so worth gunners arent penalised [as opposed to altering any other gunning parameters.] this would mean all strats are worthwhile and rewarding risk and possibly cutting down the amount of damage 'carnage' gunners can inflict on worthers. as it stands in B games a well organised gun crew targeting a single cartel means the given worth cartel wont do half as well as they should

What cartel were you in when you started playing DW?
if my memory serves me correctly i joined a cartel caled FAH-Q for the last few days where someone told me to attain high worth u need to get as many vests as possible, the only advice ive ever really recieved in terms of scoring good worth. the round after i joined several rooms and joined random cartels, the names of them were dope warriors, the undertakers and blunt brothers. blunt brothers eventually turned into Army of Sin whom i played a couple of rounds for but my first real long term cartel was Reds Warriors

What cartels have you been a part of?
the ones that i can remember definately playing for are Reds Warriors, Army of Sin, Daqqers1, DHYM, 50 ft [Dopewars Finest], Big Kahunas, Old School Mafia, Narco Inc., Black Dragons, Love Rats, Italian Mafia, Dope Warriors, The Undertakers, Civil Disobedience, Vamp and The Bats, Mad Pubes, TLB, The White Cane Mafia, Northwest Connection, Order Of The Assassins, City Limits, Brutal British Crew, Black Hearted Warriors, Righteous Warriors, Guns for Hire, D.O.T gunners, Modus Operandi, Crackhouse, 4 Finger Club and probably many more one offs and others ive possibly forgotten

What is your favorite cartel you were ever in?
ive enjoyed playing for every gun cartel ive ever played in, realy hard to choose a winner there but worth wise id have to say Reds with Daqqers a pretty close 2nd

What was your least favorite cartel?
to be honest i really just turn up and play without taking too much notice of what goes on in there. probably one of the ones ive forgotten about :smartass:

What new cartel are you keeping your eye on?
i dont think Northwest Connection or TLB count as new cartels any more so id say Modus Operandi and White Cane Mafia for B and A styles repectively

Have you ever run a cartel, and if so which one(s)?
i once ran my own gunning crew many rounds ago, Righteous Affliction, in B4 but due to it not filling up i merged with Black Hearted Warriors to make Righteous Warriors. i took the easy option as time and organisation are 2 things i dont have in much capacity
*edited to add i also ran a gunning cartel in the last all-star game

What is you favorite DW moment?
there isnt 1 outstaning moment but some of the things ive really enjoyed are my 2 overall wins [the worth-gun one was particularly sweet], finishing top in daqqers the first round i played for them, first medals personally and with reds and first golds personally/with reds. also im pleased with finishing about 53rd overall in my second full round, albeit from b16 :P

What is your least favorite DW moment?
take ur pick of any of the times ive been gunned to death while worth gunning when im almost home and dry, that really hurts i can tell u after all the work u put in

way too many to list all of them past and present but im not really someone whos online a lot to be honest so anyone whos ever been on my msn list [sinnocent apart when i added him to beast him about blowing our cover in an hidden round]

i dont really have any enemies, an enemy is too strong a term for a competitor on an online game anyway but sinnocent really pissed me off

noob adoption didnt happen when i was first around so no-one, ive devised all my own strats and proud to say it. i learnt some valuable things off of kiz though, chiefly the importance of stamina

Forgive the delay in posting Ryan, I wanted to find the time to give you a proper congrats as you are truly one of the great ones.

For me personally, you're probably the player I admire most in this game, but more for your personality and friendship than your insane skills at the game. You're the person I hope to see online when I need advice, and more than once you've helped me work things out. You're one of the funniest people I chat with, and also one of the brightest. Saying that you're a gentleman is an understatement, and your willingness to help people is just part of what makes you great as a person.

You should have seen the msn convos between Jon (mastergunz) and I when we first started talking. We couldn't believe that the great 'Stupid' was talking to a couple of n00bs!

My proudest 'individual' moment in this game was being asked by you to join 'Team Stupid' in the ASG. I was probably the least worthy player in that round, but by far the most grateful (and I didn't finish last!!).

So cheers to a well deserved, long overdue thread, and a sincere 'Thank You'.... for everything.

thank you andy, yeah i think its only been once or twice that weve played alongside each other and only once where its been a decent market and i believe u actually finished higher then me although i lost about a bill to mad bastard. even that said ur a very good player and a very big personality in dopewars these days and u have my respect. and finally as for organising reds it would be wrong to take the credit for that, tania does a lot more then me if the truth be told, i suggest things and she with the help of others implement them

Yeah I have spoke 2 yous like probs x3 and yous is always helpfull even to a player like me who is well: a fucking asshole.
