View Full Version : Man cleared after 12 years in Prison...

I'm all for new DNA evidence clearing innocent people that are in prison, I think it's a wonderful and necessary advancement in our legal system...but in this case, what I don't get is the article states that "this man was arrested three days after the crime driving the victim's car. He confessed to the crime and was positively identified by the victim."

I wish they'd explain all of these things in the article rather than just say DNA didn't match. :glare:

without knowing more, there are 2 things that i can say with high degree of certainty:

1. The guy knows the real perp and is probably guilty by association.
2. The victim was a white girl who can't differentiate between young black males(the ole "they all look alike" syndrome)
