I have only seen the post where he was failed at flaming tca. The flag isn't racist, and is still flown at court houses in the south. We can even have them on our license plates here if you are kin to someone who fought in the war. Thats the States putting them on Gov't issue material.

Yeah I know what you mean TJ and I appreciate the point, but if you look at the last few posts I made in the other thread (White Power i think it was) then you'll see what I mean about implications and connatations of symbolism. Jai Jai made some excellent points there as well.

As far as condom himself is concerned, he's what I like to call a closet racist...self explanatory term i guess so i'm not going to bother explaining it further. My main problem with they guy is that he's a n00b, both to DW and the forum and he comes on here firstly without any proper introductions or inhibitions and acts like he's king cock and calls out Jesse (failure) and then tries to argue in topics and debates in SD (failure) and then tries to slag off half the people here (failure) and THEN has the audacity to claim intellgence and superiority over the rest of us because he goes to some law school that his mother may or may not have sucked off the principal to get him into, and on top of everything else, he's using an inflamatory display picture!

It's an accumulation of all these things that has totally pissed me off about this guy and why i will actually watch him like a fucking hawk in every single post he makes and pounce on the opportunity to refute him. Yeah I've seen some of those images online before. Now see in that context, it's placid, non-inflamatory and overall quite benign. It's when those sort of images are coupled with people like "condom" that things begin to get displaced and the ugliness attached to the icons begins to get projected in someone's mind.

If you're just going around making fun of races everywhere, then I'd agree you're not allowed to do it. What I was stating initially is just making the statement "I'm in the KKK" is not going to get you banned.

However in a serious discussion this could come up as a reason for why you believe things or see them in a particular viewpoint. For example, with Condom being a member of the KKK, you could then understand the environment he would be coming from when it comes to issues of race. This helps you better debate whatever viewpoints you may disagree of his, or how someone could come up with a viewpoint like that in the first place. Or let's say we have a thread about stereotypes, their creation, and the role played in society. Well since races have stereotypes and different societal viewpoints exist, it can show why they believe this particular stereotype.

It's not going to be often that a situation like the above would ever occur, but if that happens, the staff knows to look for it. That's why the racism rule is subjective.

If the staff doesnt like someone they can pretty much ban them. I was however unable to find how many infracture points i had. If you could point me to those on my user cp that would be helpful.

In my experience, if the staff dislikes a person enough to ban them, chances are most other forum users don't like them either, and won't be sorry to see them go.

A lot of people operate under the misconception that this forum is subject to the rights of free speech and all that jazz. When it comes right down to it, follow the rules as they are laid out and ask if you're unsure. But if you toe the line, it's your own fault if you get banned. 90% of users get along just fine and haven't received any infractions.

If you had received infractions, you'd know about it. I can't be sure because I haven't had an infraction myself yet... But I believe you get a message telling you in your PM's. Which you can find under your name on the top left of this window...

If you had an infraction, you'd know about it. Any infractions, or warnings for a possible infraction would result in you receiving a PM from us about it. Secondly you can view all infractions that you have by clicking on the User CP link, where they'd show up on the main page. As you can imagine by now, you have received no points for infractions yet.

As far as being "screwed" goes, a very small percentage of the members here have been banned since the infraction system has been put into place. The vast majority of banned members are either spam bots, or multi accounts of users here. Usually the fast path to banning is to sling racist remarks everywhere. Short of that you've got to keep being a piece of shit for some time before you rack up enough points to take a weeks vacation from the forum.
