Called my mom for this one

2 eggs
1c milk
1c flour
1/2 tsp. salt

blend in blender and let it rip a few minutes
pour in pan (8 1/2 X 11) with hot pan drippings from roast beef
425 degrees 30-40 minutes until golden

The hot pan part is uber important, stick it on the hob whole you pour in the mix

Craig.. been there tried that. John tried unsuccessfully to make them, and he said the altitude or something causes them not to rise. Possibly the humidity and barometric pressure too. I'm sure he'll attempt it again sometime tho.

Not sure if they have a british goods store where u live, but we go to Le' Brits in lawrence kansas and buy things such as HP sauce, Mcvitties cookies, different curry sauces etc... but we also was able to buy some frozen yorkshires that u simply bake. I'm sure not as good as homeade but will give u an idea. (Y)

we have mexican and vietnamese I haven't found a British goods store. I'll give the recipe a try sat. night or sunday. Made sheppards pie Tuesday.:bleh:

yeah man, just let the blender rip hard and get a bunch of air into the batter for about 2 minutes, and like Mikey said, pour over hot pan drippings and put immediately into oven. Ive only done it in one big pan instead of smaller cups and then just cut it into pcs. The edges should puff up and be a thinner crust within the pan (maybe 1/2").

p.s. when is dinner time for Sheppard's pie, one of my favs :P

I love Shepherds pie. Its cheap and easy, and I could honestly eat it 6 days out of the week.

MAN I LOVE YORKSHIRE PUDDING AND ROAST BEEF
BUT I HAVEN'T HAD IT SCENE MY MOTHER PASTED AWAY IN 1997 :(
SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT MADE IT AND IT CAME OUT RIGHT
MY DADS DAD WAS ENGLISH AND TOLD HER ABOUT IT AND HOW TO MAKE IT
