I realise it's not all "Facebookers" who were being dorks in OT GT, and you realise it's not all Oddthoughters who were being dorks in FB OT.


So let's put our past differences aside and forget about everything that's been said, done, whatever. From what I've seen you people are intelligent, funny, and nice when it suits you (;)) so I think you'll fit in well here.

I can't speak for everybody but I think I can speak for most when I say welcome :) And I hope you enjoy your time here.

Other than that, the only thing you should know is that the FB : OT post exchange rate is a little bit differet. In other words, 1 OT post is worth 4.5 FB posts, so use the currency wisely and be sure to check in with the exchange agency to find out the best time to post ;)

I dont know whether I understanding this fully but i assure you you wouldnt be able to do the same in FB for many reasons such as

1) Been there done that, some of the biggest familys in FB dw's have been wiped out....none existant anymore.

2) It wouldnt bother the mass of players there, just the minority.

3) We wouldnt just sit back and let it happen.....fight fire with fire I say

Hey Facebook retards welcome to OT! LOL Just kidding! I would like to think I was the first ambassador of peace for FB/OT relations. I played quite a few rounds with the FBers, two of them with probably the most kickass FB cartel ever, Project Mayhem. They really are mostly a pretty cool group of guys and gals and I'm glad to have them here. Badboy I know your engin, the most married guy in FB DW history but Shadow.. Do I know you?

Everything is different, just cause you have a "custom" strat doesn't mean shit. Its the same as here, unless you actually do the testing or know every variable to be able to do the maths, its all trial and error. I'm currently sitting #30 with 0 invites and no multis. How? because I have been playing since it started and have had the practice to perfect my strat. I have never ran the "low stam" strat that seems to be the only one to come out of FB, yet anytime I play serious I finish top 50.

Worth gunning is typically the top choice in FB. The high population of players allow many advantages for worth gunners that aren't as great in the OT version.

Yeah it is if you want to do it. I run a cartel there, we are known for running an extremely legit game and we "won" last round. I doubt we'll be able to do it again as the farming situation has gone ballistic and the only way to catch them would be for admin to go through every log and see who they've been hitting. FB denies applications access to IP addresses, or so I've been informed, so it makes it difficult to find who is using multis. Also, with the changes to the jumping system (amount of stam depends on amount won) multis are just low stamming themselves, they have over 5k junkies and are losing 50 in 5 bunched jumps. Add it all together and its worse than it ever was, but thats the fun bit, trying to win legit against all the cheats.

Its a mix. Ok the last few rounds the bulk of top 50 players have been gunners, thats starting to even out a little now because players adapt to the game and change their strats, no strat is followed over and over again as it wont work as you'd get left behind after a round or two. Gunners cartels are going to take the round once again with the cartel I belong to (CI) and the cartel I am playing in (None) taking 1st and 2nd (again) the difference being since gunners cartels have started winning in FB the balance has slowely started to even out due to the adaptions of strats
