I think it's the goal of a cat to confuse its owner lol.

lol... dogs are problem animals, id rather have 1 of those fish that stick to the tank and only ever move to eat the shit from the other fish

the only thing i like about dogs is that you can tell them to do something and they'll understand you

Cats understand you - they're just too smart to do it.

"Why the fuck should I sit? You fucking moron, I'm not a dog. Now, scratch my ears."

Dogs are loyal, cats just want food and entertainment. If you died the cat would eat you probably.

My cat cries at night for no reason (unless she's scared of the dark or something :/ ), doesn't let you hold her and only lets you clap her when she is in the mood. She on rare occasions sits on me but it isn't regular at all. We've had her since she was a kitten so it's not like she was neglected before she came here.

I know why she is doing it, for attention. If my mum gets up she stops crying, even if I'm up she won't cry. Doing the "ignore her" that all the "experts" suggests just has it go on longer. We tried that for months. I sleep through her cries but when she starts to cry when my mum is out for the night, one swift "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH" keeps her quiet. My mums shouting doesn't have the same effect on her. :hehe:

agree 100%. i have a persian i got as a kitten almost 10 years ago. they completely understand what you say to them, they're too stubborn to listen. dogs are very obedient, but cats think for themselves.
