I think with Pro rooms being well, Pro, all rooms should lock. People can't make or join a cartel after 96 hours or whatever it is anyway, so why not lock the rooms after that? It would also stop most noobs just wandering in, considering it is "pro" games after all.

lol is true jen and if these players consider themselves pros then why do they have to depend on donations instead of skill?

That's why I suggested changing the donation cap from $40 to $20.

that is true but i think they could afford to let one game go by and stop the donations for one game, and seeing these pros handle the game without relying on money to actually win. that i would like to see.

I think it's just better if people donate $20 in two rooms, rather than cramming $40 in one room. A $40 donation could increase your worth by 20 M, not to mention the benefits of token hoarding.

Maybe an option would be to make it truly "pro" - charge $2, $5 or even $10 each to join and give everyone a $2, $5 or $10 code to use. Have an option to double up on that payment once only, not too big an advantage there.
Could have a different cost for each room (1 "free" + 3 pay to play) and adjust prize $ accordingly.

I can't decide if I like this idea or not...I'll edit this when I make up my mind. :)

Edit:

Yeah...I think I do, but honestly I can't see it working for 3 rooms. Maybe just one non-medal room with a kick ass prize payout determined by the # of people playing.

not everyone has a credit card, correct me if im wrong but i think this is the only current way to donate....... as such this idea would discriminate against anyone that doesnt have a credit card..... so in my book is a total no no :nono:

No can do, we are only just about able to pay prizes as it is, we get past the fine detail using the donation system.

However if you guys were to pay to play, then the law says we cannot pay you a cash prize. pay in...or pay out, aka u pay for free and we offer cash prizes or u guys pay in and we do not pay anything out, were just charging for a service.

Let em donate in the V2 games! Ya know though in all seriousness.. I say make the A1, B1, and A1 Pro games have no donations.. The rest of the room who gives a rats ass
