Seriously I'm sick of it, am I alone here or what, I want to be entertained but I cannot get away from it.

So whats your views...love it or hate it and if so why and what do you watch?

exactly, entertainment is always going through phases like this, which is partly why i hardly ever watch TV andymore...and same with movies. NOTHING original that interest me. im waiting for the next Tarentino film to come out before i go back to the cinema.

Do you know what i find interesting...

If you ask just about anybody if they watch big brother you get a reply somewhat like this...

"I don't watch that shit, boring as fuck it's just sad grrrr!!"

Yet it gets around 5 million views per night, and is now in it's 9th series. Go figure... :S

Some reality shows I like, like The Amazing Race. Others, like American/Canadian Idol or Big Brother, I never watch. Although don't watch much tv anyway (unless we're talking Lost, let's not be silly now ;)).

i agree.. they seem scripted to me. but a lot of ppl buy it. Even here in the philippines, they do a LOT of reality shows now.

Some reality shows I like, like The Amazing Race. Others, like American/Canadian Idol or Big Brother, I never watch. Although don't watch much tv anyway (unless we're talking Lost, let's not be silly now ;)).

Yeah i finally got hooked on lost a couple of months ago i am through season 3. I dont like to watch it on tv i rather watch it on dvd

I despise pretty much all of it. The only one that I thought was cool was Joe Schmo (The Joe Schmo Show - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Joe_Schmo_Show)) even though I watched very little of it.

The only one currently that even tempts me is Last Comic Standing but I like pretty much all stand-up comedy. Although even the host and queer "drama" annoys me.

same here it all sucks even thou i watch it all from time to time. my wife and daughter love that shit and im to lazy to go outside and do some actual work so i set at my computer and watch shit tv...

I think reality TV is the future, almost everyone loves a little bit of 'fly on the wall', or those reality survival shows, and I know the whole of the UK goes absolutely crazy when the new season of 'I'm a celebrity' starts. Big Brother has been so 'Hollywooded-up' that to me, it's pathetic, but sadly that happens to a lot of reality TV :( but new one's pop up all the time, that's why I think it's the future.

Did anyone ever watch a program called 'MTV's FEAR'?... Best reality TV ever!

EDIT: Dunno how the subject changed to Quentin Tarantino, but i'll just add that his latest movie Deathtrap or whatever the hell it was called, is probably the worst movie I have seen, EVER!
