Thank you to all of you that have helped me today - i found more information from all of you than I did all yesterday using google.

You guys are the best - If any of you have malware problems just let me know and I will give you the same effort you gave me in the techie section.

I got the forum up - thank you - especially Jacx for giving me a complete walk through step by step.

And Cushion is helping with the basic site design

But I need help with some coding -

I need something that when somebody signs up the information is stored into the db, and then, there allowed to access the members area

and something coded to were if they havent signed up, the members area is off limits

Thats pretty easy RD? what are you using for the backend PHP/MYSQL?

If so you can check a cookie, if the user isn't registered it redirects them.

Mysql - this isn't really my thing - I know basic xhtml ect

he is getting the mysql lession tomorrow..oh and dymond, i made him use filezilla...now go educate lol

Well you don't necessarily need to know mySQL but knowing PHP would be a big plus. In order to maximize what a website can do you need to have some server side scripting going on. I personally love PHP

I still would like feedback -

Connection Square Online Networking (http://www.connectionsquare.net)

I am working on linking the section after you click join our network to the forums and vica versa - so content can be interchangable at both places
