Gun's lost vs Vest's lost

I am just wondering if anyone can help me to understand why if I am at full Stamina and the person who I jumped is almost identical worth to myself there is such a huge differance in guns lost vs vests lost. Has happened on 2 or 3 occassions today.

If he is at same worth, he is inflated with extra worth like junkies, lab, books, and credits, gun presses give you 0 worth. You would have many more guns than he has vest at same worth.

If I was to be say 2 3rds the worth of a him or another junkie runner how come I generally speaking would lose? Or is Cartel Strength really that important?

His stamina and cartel strength plays a big roll in his defense.

Also YOUR gun cartel strength plays a big part.

As I found out a few rounds ago, if you gun from a weak gunners cartel, you may have twice the number of guns and full stamina and still lose!

to avoid that you just need to limit your jumps (3-5 a day) use thugs make sure you dont throw away guns on a shit jump and after 2.5 weeks stop jumping and build guns

as the round progresses you need to be further and further ahead of full strength targets. if you make a note of your gun-worth i.e. number of guns * 30.5 and compare it to your targets' worth and also make a note of the day of the round and you will start to build up a picture
