Hey, Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a PLC "Simulator" that i can download for "FREE" and use for ladder diagrams and so on to test electrical circuits

Eg: design the circuit then be able to operate the whole circuit on the computer without having to use any external devices

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure about 'free' but if you give me some names I can see what I can find. PLCs are pretty cool. I worked at a Electrical Wholesale House for awhile and I sold motor controls and PLCs.

Yer im an Apprentice electrician so i figured being able to test my circuits without powering them up would be a useful thing (also for tafe assignments)

Plus i never work with a trades person even when i was first yr i was alone...

but im no shit cunt, Im easily the best a circuit design and development in my tafe class but still not having and a tradesman around i make the occasional fuck up when im not thinking so cleary

but when you say names what are you meaning??

i dont actually want a PLC program that will control PLC's, i want a simulator so i can design a circuit on the screen and click the start button and watch what happens after that...

thankz for your time but... i had tried multiple things but there all shit or simply do not work the way they should

I meant if you knew some good PLC simulators out there that weren't free that you liked.

nope, i have no clue, this is the first time i have thought maybe i should get a PLC simulator but everyone i have found has been shit...

yer i think i have tried that trilogic but i maybe mistaken, ill try ur link :D thankz

*EDIT*

yes i did try this one, the internet test one, simply wont work for me but i filled out the form to download it anyway and they never replied and its meant to be automatic within a couple of mins

*EDIT 2*
filled it out again and i got the things this time, ill see how i go now..

*EDIT, last one*
i got the full version and it does as much as i need it to, not to hard to work out and does enough to simulate any circuit i think you could come up with, so we have a winner :D
