im looking to learn how to do this just wondering if anyone know any good tuts. and what programs are good for doing the programing
please dont say ebooks i have over 8 gb's of ebooks lol alot yes i know but i like having all kinds of info

I agree with Smokes. You want to learn the basics of HTML before you learn CSS and .ASP. I have written webpages in ASP and alot of times your using that code to manipulate HTML so its good to have a good grasp on it.
Somebody sent me this link and it has paid off in spades for me..

yeah smokies site is probely the best, and just mess about on notpad and save as .hmtl, and open it on IE and see what it looks like

I would recommend learning HTML then DHTML (or HTML/JavaScript), it's easier calling a JS function from HTML then calling the same function with ASP (reading that, JS seems pretty compulsory eh!? (or try VBscript)), JS is also a stepping stone to learning other scripting languages... just my opinion anyway mate :orign:

WTF??? I didn't know Cali was so smart with webpages..
Thats good advice Ca(naz)Li. I think alot fo times you can get away w/o using .ASP unless your tying into database. Also there are quite a few cheap and/or free HTML wysiwyg editors out there that allow you to see what your doing in real time but I would get to know HTML the hard way first.

Canazli... that's a new one heehee :tongue: , I aint done any of this since back in college so i'm a bit rusty :blush: wouldn't mind getting back into all of this so I suppose I could use some linkage aswell :orign:

thats what i was also told the like front page and other editors if u use then and do the stright programing there is alot of "fluff" code

Yeah Frontpage uses its own extensions instead of HTML so its horrid in NON IE browsers!
