The choice of Gr_ as a mod is justified because of his coding abilities, however the choice of some "mods", whom are ageing men looking for an on-line power trip, is appalling. Namely the "British" mod, who NOW has little or no British players to help/moderate.

I think I'd have to agree on the part that Gr_ seems more than happy to insult a user and look down on them because they're merely a 'user' and not a 'moderator'. They don't have powers like he does. I was told he has moderated another forum which is why he had the experience to moderate here. However, because he was in his own little section for his entire Oddthought membership, he has no idea how the rest of it works and I feel he causes more problems than he solves.

However, from what i have observed, Gr_ has enforced many of the forum rules - some say this is Gr_ on a "power trip" but actually, we all know the rules (or have no excuse not to because they are posted somewhere in the forum and a quick search ought to find everything) so if we dont follow them...... how can we complain when someone turns round and enforces them?? Just because the other mods havent done so doesnt mean what Gr_ is doing is wrong or on a "power trip". Maybe we need to decide as a forum whether we want some rules enforced or a completely unmoderated forum??
as for how Gr_ speaks to people.... again, sadly i havent had the pleasure of any dialogue with him/her... from what you suggest their manner may need a makeover but i cant really comment fully.
