i think it would be handy to have a clock showing the gametime in the top corner.

would be handy for all sorts especially mergers.

you agree?

I like this idea, as long as it showed the time in seconds as well!

It's been suggested before and shot down by admins.

I've been wanting a game time on the home page forever...even though I'm on EST the clocks are still off a minute or two usually. But yeah, Jacx is never on time to the minute with reset anyways.

Download a dual clock, I'm sure you can find one at Free Software Downloads and Reviews - Download.com (http://www.download.com)

I did that when FB was randomly 11 minutes slower than EST.

The point is people believe reset happens 10secs or so before it should do. An oddthought clock would clear up any discrepancies.

10 seconds either way, reset happens at the same time for everyone. So it is 10 seconds early and you don't get to last minute pull your spy ... tough, neither does the opposition.
I know when I did resets that I was just glad it was over :$ lol

Typical A game reset

The official U.S. time - clock (http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java)

Thats the clock i use for reset, same clock every round...I also often post updates in the shoutbox the last 10 min.

When reset happens, I click the button on the dot for a games main, however clicking the button does not reset the game, all it does is builds a list of scores.
I copy those scores and paste them onto a notepad, then save the pad.
Then i jump to pro and do the same thing.
I then jump back to the admin panal and reset the game.

So scores for main games are built on the dot, scores for pro might be 30s -1 min past.

Resetting the games themselves sometimes is 2 min past...but that matters not becuase i already have the scores.

Thats how it all works.

I feel like that deserves it's own episode on "how it's made" on the discovery channel.
