medal tables for non medal room?

i think it could be a fun idea to have like NOT medal tables but like a less serious kinda table to guage success of cartels in A2-A4 (and B2 - B4).

like you could do a scoring sheet like this:

1 2 3 4 5(place in top5) points
1 0 0 0 0 5
0 1 0 0 0 4
0 0 1 0 0 3
0 0 0 1 0 2
0 0 0 0 1 1

maybe just too much extra work but it'd be a fun thing and hey if you don't wanna do it jacx make me a mod and i'll do it :haha:

all im saying is it would give recognition to the non medal competeing cartels

but maybe it would devalue the worth of a medal...thoughts anyone?

If you really want recognition for the game you're playing, play in a medal room...if you aren't good enough, who the hell cares where you place in comparison to a bunch of other losers...

LOL, its not such a bad idea, none of you can say you play in A2-4 to run 2nd...

you did name it terribly which may have scared most people off but the other thing is...

there "fun" rooms and i dont think admin will feel like setting up a new table just to see who is winning the fun rooms, even though people in those rooms you would assume are still playing to win....

Not feeling this..we can already kind of see which cartels managed to have a good round in the end of rounds thread on here, so it seems like a lot of time spent on nothing in particular.

Oh and Liam you should also know, people around here are very resistant to any sort of change to the game hehe. You may just be chased down with pitch forks and torches now!

but yer, hit them with a new suggestion after suggestion until one gets passed, then it will feel like you had an input into the game :D

is there any point playing a2-a4 anymore??
now overall cartel and player only comes from a1 there is actually no incentive to play and/or donate in a2-a4....... i do think this was a mistake and there should be some sort of prize, however big or small for overall player and cartel from a2-a4 or overall across the rooms.

i wonder if admin have noticed a decrease in donations from "fun rooms" since it was decided that nothing should be won from these rooms??

i dont think this is such a bad idea and it need not be done by admin (you certainly wouldnt need to be made a mod for it anyway!!), if you want to see it zerat then make a thread, do it yourself and keep it updated each month.

I agree with Swiss on how it should best be done.

If all you're wanting is a table of who did the best in each particular room (or series of rooms) that are non-medal, why not just make a webpage with the table on it, post the page in a thread, and then bump it with updates whenever it's necessary?

Regarding donations: I can't see the numbers on donations, but it's quite possible that there's a significant increase in donating in A1/B1 to negate any losses from lack of donations in the other rooms. Plus I imagine the fact that all new players have to start off in a2-a4 (unless their timing is good) and may just randomly donate there for the round. These are just speculative guesses though.
