FireFox is not saving my book marks.

I checked already and the attributes are not set to read only.
Does anyone have any advise for me?

And to be honest, I am not very tech savvy!

Thanks!

did you exit firefox?

:haha: Not the first time!

Ok, when I followed your steps this time, it only shows one profile.

you might have a corrupt "places.sqlite" file.

Oh and is this 2.0 or 3.0?

It's 3.0
It's not fixed. I got frustrated and let it go.

Try this

menu/bookmarks/organize bookmarks/import and backup/export html

save your bookmarks somewhere. close firefox, go to start, run, and type

firefox -safe-mode

check all options, click close and restart ff. This will bring back your firefox to its its default form. You can now go back into organize bookmarks and import you saved bookmarks.html to restore your previously save bookmarks. Play with it for a day or so at the default settings and see if its still crapping out on you.

Only time I saw this happen was when FF crashed but left its process running. Although 2.0 kept losing its bookmarks downstairs but it hasn't happened again since upgrading to 3.0.
