Ok so I had 4 wisdom teeth removed on wed, and im already going to loose my mind eating mashed potatoes, smoothies, soup broth and jello. Anyone have an suggestions for other things to eat? I have no swelling or pain, just I dont want anything that I don't have to chew too much or that would get caught in the holes.

mmmmm ice cream... I had all four out at once too.

I also ate cream of mushroom soup, chicken noodle soup, yoghurt, bananas, soft bread with peanut butter, Kraft Dinner (who ever chews that? stick it in your mouth and swallow lol) ... Can't think of anything else.

eggs, grapes, avocados, veggies get real soft if you steam them long enough.

Mine weren't all that sore when they got taken out, and I was painting the basement the next day when apparently you're supposed to be too sick/tired to be active. My mouth was swollen, sure, but not too bad otherwise.

Meh I had all 4 of mine taken out at once, was no big deal. A tad bit of throbing pain for the day that you have the operation but after that it's smooth sailing just waiting for it to heal.

While waiting for my holes to heal and fill in to the point it was no longer an issue my diet consisted mainly of grilled cheese, mashed potatoes, apple sauce, Spaghetti, and peanut butter.

Definitely lots of ice cream, it helps with any pain too. I haven't had to have my wisdom teeth out, but ice cream was pretty much all I ate for 4 days after getting my tongue pierced - same principle. Like the others have said, any kind of soft pasta is good too.

pain wasn't an issue immortal kaf, losing the clots and getting dry socket was thought.
I went through so many potatoes, eggs and jello, it's rediculous. I don't think I want to look at them ever again. I'm allowed to use my cleaning syringe wed so i think I'm going to make pizza and bbq a steak for dinner that night. Tylonol 3's make for a good nap.

I ate lots of ice cream, soup, jello, scrambled eggs, egg salad, just about anything soft, like applesauce

mine were fine the day I got them removed but then the next morning I woke up and I could barely open my mouth and it was like that for the next three days

Mine went great. the only time it hurt significantly was right after the surgery but that's cause i waited an hour before taking any pain meds and the novocaine wore off.

just keep your mouth shut as much as you can, don't suck on anything and you'll be fine.

as for foods, buy a bunch of different kinds of ice cream, some puddings, and w/e else everyone has said.

pfft, I think I had a sandwich 2 days after. Suck it up! You better have had a sandwich by tomorrow...

I'm being serious though, i think I ate outrageously well for having all 4 pulled. And I still remember the only thing from that day is that I woke up and watched the Showcase Showdown on The Price Is Right and then passed out for another 6 hours.

In the Marines they gave you 2 boost drinks twice a day for 2 days. After that, you ate what they had or starved, LMAO.

I had 2 pulled at once and left the dentists office and went next door and ate at the Wendys, had a burger and a frosty. If they packed the holes (which they generally do) then it shouldnt be a prob, just rinse well after you eat and takes lots of pain pills so the whole thing is a happy memory

nothing with a straw because it can lead to dry sockets which are very painful.
packages of frozen peas are very helpful for the swelling and pain. just sleep on one then switch to other side when you wake up next.
as far as food.. nothing with sharp edges ie chips. medium soft things like bread, bannanas, eggs.

jawbreakers, chips, lots of mexican food, and as much steak as you can take. don't worry, drugs make everything good :)

ok when i had my wisdom tooth pulled i took nothing for the pain because i knew what it felt like, as far as the food mainly soft thing and i know this hurts but try stretching the jaw also it makes for a faster healing time
