I got it two days before the world wide release date ( I always do :D ) and it's pretty damn cool. It's pretty much the same as the first GoW but everything is on a much bigger scale, some of the fights are huge, fucking Locust everywhere and you fight shitloads of Brumak and other bigass fuckers. The meat shield is fun too, the enemies crawl around when you do enough damage to them then you pick em up and use them as a shield.
If you liked the first Gears this is a must buy. If you weren't a fan of the original (what the hell is wrong with you?) you should probably steer clear of it, unless you want a Lancer Saw Bayonet in your forehead.
