We get all kinds of microsoft software on the msdnaa but you need to have an email approved by your programme leader to activate it, although i would steer away from ms office 2007 if you are looking at doing anything with databases, because its a fucking cunt to navigate through lol!

I like them both, but the only problems I ever have are that people can't open attachments I send in 2007 format and they have office 2003

with open office I also sometimes have problems that people can't open the attachments through email.

Weird. I like the databases in office 2007. I run it on my office laptop. At home I use open office

I have office 07 enterprise and I love the onenote program.

Its like a multi-subject notebook that has no lines, no tabs etc, it can be written on anywhere. It comes in so handy for target lists etc, I have a tab (subject) for each room and then a page within for different things I need, lists, thuggings, records etc

If I could find a program that done the same thing I would use openoffice though cause I prefer the simplicity of it.

From memory cant you resolve this issue when by saving the document in a backwards compatible format on the later additon, ie 2007?

Im certain you do it through "save as" option. had to do this all the time with spreadsheets from me old job

yeah you can si.

ive had teh same problem. when i go to save a document now i use office 03 to save it (one of the options)

when you save in 07 format it adds an x to the end of it. .docx is what it looks like in word
