actually not quite true, although AMD has been king of the hill for atleast 4 years now, Intels new Conroe chips pull its pants down and thoroughly spank it. But i still love my Opteron :hugs:

yeah ive a lanparty, UT-NF4 SLI-D, it's actually still set up without a case on the bench next to me :) I ended up buying an Aluminium Thermaltake Armour, and have had the shell powder coated black, i just need to finish painting all the plastic pieces so i can get this thing built finally. And the Ram im running is the new G-Skill F1-4000 HZ DDR500 2GB kit :ice:

damn you guys got some rockin machines!

As for ATI and AMD honestly I don't think it was a good move. If Intel starts twisting their big vendors IE Dell to stop putting in ATI cards in their machines, Dell will take their lead.

im quite curious to see where they go with it though, the idea of having a graphics card plugged straight into the Hypertransport stream and being able to communicate bi-directionally with the CPU is quite exciting :ice:
