okay so tell me why i should watch this movie, does it live up to the hype?

not seen it but im going to hijack your thread and ask if you or anyone else has seen Doubt - the meryl streep movie.... my cinema didnt show it originally but has now put it on at midday and 6pm, kinda ridiculous times but is it worth me making the effort to go??

I thought it was really good. Mickey Rourke played the role so well. The role really could have only been played by him. You could tell that it was written just for him. Even though I really liked Sean Penn in Milk, I think that Rourke should have won the Oscar.

And Doubt was also pretty good, and I would see anything with Phillip Seymour Hoffman in it because I think he is fantastic. But overall it wasn't as great as I would have hoped for with the cast.

I hate to recommend movies though because I feel bad when someone sees something that I like and they hate it.
