Recognition Thread nomination for March 2009

Ok let me get some things straight. People have make suggestions in a separate thread as to who should get nominated. However also I stated that regardless of how many suggestions made for X persons, it will not mean they will be in every poll if they did not win, it will be rotated.

On another note, I fucked up royaly in the sence of giving a multiple vote. Its single vote ONLY and hidden.

So i'm going to restart this poll. Same people.

As for the suggestion that 1 a month is too many, then make that suggestion elsewhere in its own rather than devalue this thread. Its possible to make these comments without offense!

Also, for some people they do not like joe blogs being up for nomination. Yet remember just becuase joe has only been here 9 months, his peers do not respect him? Its easy for us older guys and gals to know whats what in terms of who has a history, but the game carrys on and new people come and go with different views and thats something to be remembered.

Alan ffs don't dare belittle what i did with llamas in Agames...i never recruited "all the best fromt he forum" (60% llamas only got on the forum like 3 or 4 rounds ago).... i guess you are refering to HH, Jesse, Az, K-no ? they never even joined until llamas had already won 2golds and some b game medals sooooo shhhh.

i dont want to get into any of this, merely point out that as i understood it rec threads are about MORE than just a players ability to score highly. For me, and please correct me if im wrong, a rec thread is of course for a player of the oddthought games and nobody has got one that hasnt been successful but its to do with their ability to organise medal/overall winning cartels, their gunning ability, their contributions to the forum, their training of new players, advertisement of the game to ensure it continues etc etc etc.

This is the reason i vote for Deadcert - im not sure i have ever seen her play under the handle "deadcert" so i couldnt tell you for sure whether she has had scores over 200mill in b games and 150 in a games - but i do know whenever i have played with her its been a pleasure, she has scored highly whenever i have known her handle, she is responsible for a lot of daqqs success (if anybody new doesnt know this is the second most successful cartel in DW history), contributes to the forum massively (search for posts by deadcert and see for yourself), helps train players, developed with tim a hybrid strat for the new a games and owned everyone that round.

I know where your coming from but that's because you know of their work in the game, there'll be a lot of voters that won't have that knowledge and quite a few voters having to make hard choice between the three of you.
