I can't be bothered researching what they were saying 2 years ago after celeb BB but I'll bet it was less than complimentary.

And what kind of country do we live in when the prime minister is forced to comment (or worse still, volunteers to do so) on her death.

Don't get me wrong, I have every sympathy for her and especially her sons and would not wish that on my worst enemy, but this is ridiculous.

And additionally, all the crap about how lowering the smear age range to 20 "cannot do any harm" - yes, it can - many more false positives therefore further anxiety and unnecessary surgery to cervix, then increased risk of premature labour/miscarriage and fertility problems (not saying don't offer, we do in Scotland, but more information needs to be given, which we probably don't, although I'm not a woman and not involved in that so don't really know :$).

my mum had a breast cancer scare last night. you'v got to laugh about some things, or they just get you down mate.

when my mum went for her scan/operation the first thing i said when i got back from work that day was, "so i guess we'v all gotta start buying you broccoli then? :)"

im sorry liam, but i have never found that woman to be anything but offensive to general taste. the fact she got cancer and died is sad, but the fact every1 is making a big song and dance about it happening to her makes me so much sadder. i have met people who have cancer and who have lived a lot better lives than her, the fact that they are dying is not important to the vast majority of the population, but they do more charity work for cancer etc than she would, they are cleverer than she is, less racist than she is etc... generally better people.

i dont think any1 dying is fun or good, but when i know there are people much worse off it makes me feel bad seeing her being promoted as a start for it... understand what i mean?
