If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?
I personally would like to visit the black sand beaches of Hawaii
Lava, erupting onto a shallow sea floor or flowing into the sea from land, cools the lava so rapidly that it shatters into sand and rubble. The result is the production of huge amounts of fragmental volcanic debris, which in end result is washed up on shore due to the tide which gives the beaches its black appearance.

Santorini island - Greece
The island is full of original and scenic beaches. Deep clear blue water at the western part of the island, where the caldera, smoother beaches with black or red sand and polished black stones and pumice stones at the eastern part, most of them with full touristic facilities, offer a wide range of alternatives for swimming, sunbathing and sea sports.
Santorini is one of the most romantic places in the world. The sunset from Oia or Imerovigli is a spectacle not to miss. The sun sets directly to the sea bathing the whole landscape in colours ranging from blue and purple to red and yellow. The caldera looks like burning, evoking the real eruptions of the past.
And, as the dark falls on the island, the view from the caldera is still fascinating; and if there is full moon, the moon stream on the water looks like a road leading to unknown, interesting itineraries.
View from one of the hotel balconies..

Flip - I went to the Cyclades years ago, and Santorini was just a big burned out rock. Either the travel agents are being deliberately misleading, or somebody has spent a lot of money polishing the place up since then.
As for me, I've always wanted to see Angkor Wat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angkor_Wat) in Cambodia.

1 of the coolest things I've ever seen for sure! This was made by lava. Its on Maui. Everytime the waves would hit the shore the blowhole would shoot water sooo high in the air!

I'd love to travel Indo, finding semi-secret breaks to surf.
I'd like to go to New Zealand.
My dream as a kid was to travel to South Africa watching the England Cricket Team tour.
I want to explore the west coast of Scotland some more, because that area is staggeringly beautiful. Brits tend to take it for advantage, or just dont realise how beautiful the west coast is.

I was watching a Discovery channel special on the Aurora Borealis " Norther Lights" and i found it completely interesting, how it occurs is huge gas balls escape the suns surface and collide with our earths O-zone layer creating static electricity.
The colors are amazing, I watched 15 mins of non stop footage. It was one of the coolest things i have ever seen in my life and it was on a television screen.
I would love to see it in person one day soon.
