Like your homeboy chris, with a dead baby momma and six kids… Shit!
Now he gotta make that money quick, so chris sells rocks throughout the hour and mixes baking powder.
In between shifts, amongst the bloods and crips only time and money for 3-time a week showers.
Buying flowers for his mother at her house.
And flowers for the wife of your buried brother’s spouse.
Five minutes a day puts his feet up on the couch
And by the time he’s bout to fall asleep, it’s time to leave the house
Call him recycled like plastic and paper
Like his many brothers lost among the streets, rock caterers
Plus it’s hard enough without them haters
A forced life a crime that gets shadier and shadier
From the child birth to the child’s hearse
And in the middle through the ears and in the head hear these words
I don’t preach, but I hope that what I say is a way for me to teach
To learn from an example from this short word sample
Potency is key but I won’t say like my potent weed
But like the first time out the mothers womb, the first air that you breathed
Is there a source of inspiration, cause on the block there aint no patience
Living every minute gotta get it and gotta get it quick, paid in full
Its more than just money or diamonds and pearls
But it’s also a constant trap, a constant cycle, a circle
in and out the system or in and out the world…
