Anyone else still watching Lost? I know a lot of people *cough* morons *cough* gave up on it once they couldn't follow the time-travel stuff....but I honestly think this season has been as on-point as Season 4, if not better!
Unlike most serial dramas, Lost has an end-date in sight which means they are just going to keep amping up the action and finally giving us answers!
Anyone got any good theories?
Ben Linus - good or bad?
Charles Widmore - good or bad?
John Locke - Dead or alive?
And where the hell is Claire????

*IMO*
Jack's dad is definitely dead. I think that Jacob can appear as anyone who has died on the island or whoose dead body is on the island...ie: he has shown up as Jack's dad, Claire, and Ben's daughter.
the question now is....is Locke really dead and Jacob is appearing as him? Is that why the black smoke monster appeared as Ben's daughter and asked him to follow his new leader John Locke?
And what of Daniel Farrady? Are they going to take him to the black smoke monster to save his life?
Soooo good!!!

Awesome show. So many questions, so little answers. But everytime I think I have something figured out, it changes. I haven't watched last night's yet, but I hear it was good.

why does widmore want to get back to the island?i dunno
why did some people on the same plane go back 30 years in time?cos ben moved something that makes the island skip in time untill every 1 is back to the island (every 1 that left)
but now the time skips have stopped they are stuck in the past
the time thing is crazy
i think that answers most questions people have

Some couldn't go back to the 1970s cuz their younger self is there. This is why Elsa, Charles Whitmore and Ben could not go back. Yet, I'm not sure why Locke and Sun didn't. I'm sure we will find out soon.
I wonder if Jack's dad is actually alive on the island, much like Locke was resurrected . Could Jack's father have had some proir knowledge of the island?
I have no idea about Claire. If my theory about Jack's dad is correct then she is alive too. The fortune teller told her she was the only one who was to raise Arron.

*spoiler alert*
Ok...so who saw last night's ep? Am I the only one who went into shock, then cardiac arrest, then threw my half eaten burritto at the screen because Kate is such a fucking moron?
Why does everything she touches turn into a big steaming pile of shit?
/rant
Anyhow....good answers last night. Farraday is dead. Dead dead. Sawyer and Juliet tried to make a run for it. And Miles creepy doctor dad wasn't really such a creep after all.
I liked the heavy use of eyeliner man (Richard) last night too. He's hawt.
Here's my theory (again) after last night's ep: JOHN LOCKE is JACOB. Jacob only appears as dead people. John was dead till he got to the island. Ben made the comment "dead is dead" ie (and therfore, such as, etc..) I think that Jacob is actually appearing as the dead John Locke.
Boo-yah!
One more ep left!!! I'm too excited

Lost: A Theory on Time Travel (http://www.timelooptheory.com/the_timeline.html)
ok.......kate is pissing me off....if all goes to normal she will be incarcerated and she definitley doesnt want that.
dont know if dead can be dead because Ben said he tried to kill Locke to Richard and then tells Locke Richard is questioning his leadership (Locke).
Possibly Jacob is dead people but what about claires brother that died???? Never saw him as jacob and wasnt there a time when Jacks dad and claire were shown together at the same time????
The plane separated on the second trip back and half hit the 30 years ago window and the other half present day??? maybe ????
And i dont think for a minute sawyer and his squeeze are leaving....he has a score to settle with the dharma tough guys......
Whitmore i think wants to get back because that goof Linus got him exciled, and there must be some connection between dharma and the hostiles, others, or whatever you may call them.
The doctor that is suppose to be head of dharma appears to be losing that control with the dharma tough guys (sorry too many names to remember).
I could go on and on but the time travel thrown in has this series going any which way.
until next week.............

***SPOLIER ALERT*********
For the love of god....that finale was amazing!!!! I was completely blown away, best two hours of TV this entire year, and that is not pure hyperbole.
I was really really close to being correct about my John Locke prediction. I knew John Locke wasn't John Locke, I just couldn't predict that he was this new character that hadn't yet been introduced. So all this time we thought that "Jacob" was appearing as Jack, or Alex, or whoever...it was really this other guy. Obviously, dead bodies are his only conduit to the living. Very very interesting.
Top two moments last night that made me lose my composure:
1. When Myles turns to everyone as says "How do you guys know that Jack setting off the bomb isn't the incident you are all trying to prevent?" OMG...my mind just completely melted at that part. So was it Dharma drilling into the energy source, or was it really Jack setting off the bomb all along that caused the events that eventually led the the Oceanic crash?
2. When Juliet falls down the hole (which I though was way too Titanic-esque. She totally pulled a DiCaprio), I was a bit dissapointed with her final sawn song. But then when she opened her eyes, picked up that rocked and smashed the shit out of the bomb....omg that was probably the best 2 minutes of television ever! :yay: She was like "Fuck that. I'm stuck down here dying in this hole so I'm going to take you all out with me!"
Also....did anyone else notice that of ALL the flashbacks last night...Juliet's flashback was the only one that DIDN'T have an appearance by Jacob? :| What doe that mean? Is she the "variable"? I don't think they would have shown her flashback without Jacob unless it means something important.
Do we really have to wait till 2010? :bye:
*edit* Can't forget about dumb ass Kate. Last episode she was all gung-ho about stopping Jack and how it was wrong blah blah blah. And then she has one brief 5 minute conversation with Jack and suddenly she's all "OK, I'm with you". Jesus she is annoying. She waffles back and forth and is totally worthless.
