Rent it or buy it on DvD, it's well worth the money spent.

I heard it was pretty intense and some are saying its one of Mickey Rourke's best performances.

looked shit

but

the trailed has changed my mind

i will defo try to see this now! :)

after seeing the trailer will definitely check it out... had also been hesitant to see it :bubbles:

It also has one of the best endings that really leaves you in suspense about the main character's fate.

thought it was average to be honest. Mickey was awesome though, no doubt. Film was average. fuck all happened.

Watched alot of films recently too, that definitely wasn't up there with the best of them

Good movie, Rourke really nailed the role.

On a side note, I have to laugh at Vince McMahon (owner of WWE), and his mixed reactions to the film. In the first place, he was outraged, because it lifts the lid on the wrestling industry, and showcases the pre-determined aspect of wrestling. Then, when the film received so much critical acclaim and the Oscar nominations, he jumped on the bandwagon, even going so far as getting Rourke involved in Wrestlemania this year.

I just watched it and enjoyed it.
It is sad.

I was actually was very impressed with Evan Rachel Wood.
