Sucks that my Spurs flopped out in the 1st round in what seems like forever. :( It's looking like the Cavs will play the Nuggets or Lakers in the Finals. I'm sure the NBA is hoping for a Kobe vs LeBron match-up because the TV ratings will be extremely high. I watched the Nuggets vs Mavericks game tonight and the officials blew the call at the end, Carmelo should have been shooting 3 free throws he was fouled before the shot.

The Cavs will dominate until they hit LA in the finals. LA has more size than Cleveland that plays at a better skill level. I still think Cleveland will win.

And L.A. is not the single greatest team, though basketball is a fantastic sport.

The Rockets stomped the Lakers without Yao and evened the series up. Looks like this series could possibly go to game 7. Perhaps the Lakers expected a free win with Yao out for the remainder of the year, instead they got pummeled.

The Nuggets will end the series in Game 5. The Mavericks will never win a Championship with Dirk as the go-to guy of their team. He is a tremendous offensive player, but his defense is terrible. He is what he is. An offensive machine that scores well, and a guy that is tall enough to get a bunch of boards. But he's a MASSIVE liability on defense. He can't guard ANYONE. He's way too slow and gangly. Small guys drive around him, big guys post him up. They have to protect him to keep him out of foul trouble.

how are they way over matched.... it should be 2-2 right now.... and when we win tomorrow night in there place you will see that...then instead of down 3 to 2 we would have stolen home court advantage and put it away back at home in game 6.... btw... mellow should have been kicked out of that game.... the replay clearly showed that he grazed Wrights face when he was trying to push him away.... and according to nba rules any contact above the shoulders is an automatic ejection.... the refs even reviewed it and still didnt throw him out.... there trying to make the mavs lose.... but we can beat the refs and the thuggets....lol

he steps his game up in the playoffs.... he doesnt have to get 10+ rebounds a game in the regular season to be able to do it in the playoffs.... look it up.... i dont even think shaq is on the list of people that have averaged 25 and 11 for there career in the playoffs..... dirk is not the reason the mavs havent won a championship....he is a man beast.... and he isnt young either.... he is in his 30s and is still doing this...

Like I said, Dirk is tall (7'0) he will grab his fair share of rebounds due to his height. Dirk is a terrible defender, grabbing rebounds does not mean that he is a great defender. He is a tremendous offensive player, but his defense is terrible. Dallas will never win a Championship with Dirk as the focal point of their franchise or with Cuban as their owner (see 2006 as an example). I'm impressed the Mavericks made it past the 1st round of the playoffs this season, especially after the fact that they lost to a #8 seed as a #1 seed in 2007. :haha:

Tim Duncan : 4 NBA Championships
NBA Rookie of the year
2 time NBA MVP
12 time member of the All-Defensive team
11 time allstar and 12 time all NBA

It doesn't get much better then that.

Tim Duncan has led the Spurs to 4 NBA Championships, 4 Conference titles and 7 Division titles.

Dirk led the Mavs to the 2006 NBA finals with a 2-0 lead and the biggest choke job in the NBA Playoffs. Let's not forget about the 2007 playoffs when Dirk led the #1 seeded 67-15 Mavs who lost to the #8 seeded lowly 42-40 Golden State Warriors 4-2. :haha: The Mavs won't ever win a championship with Dirk as their main man. It was brilliant of Cuban to trade off a young Devin Harris who is quickly becoming one of the better point guards in the league for a washed up has-been who is going to walk after this season. definetly not a leader but a good piece to the puzzle. 1 of 2 ppl to average 20pts and 10 rebs per game. When he played for the US in the olympics he only did well cuz he was on an allstar team. The Raps need a scorer who can create off the bounce and wont settle for jump shots

New Jersey 34-48 this year.... they almost lost as many games with the pointguard you call great.... in the eastern conference where only 3 teams are any good.... while jason kidd was the starting point guard of a 50 win mavs team.... in a conference that had 8 count them 8 teams with a shot a 50 wins this year..... your obviously not a sports fan if you would rather have devon harris over jason kidd..... and kidd wont be leaving dallas.... cuban will over pay.... we have not legit starting point guard to back him up yet.... i would bet kidd is here for atleast 2 more years....

Are you really that oblivious to reality? Wait, don't answer that because obviously you are I forgot who I was communicating with here. Compare the supporting cast that Jason Kidd has in Dallas to the supporting cast that Devin Harris has in New Jersey. Of course the Nets are going to have a terrible record, look at their roster and it's clear as day they lack talent. One or two good players (Devin Harris and Vince Carter) can't carry a team that bad. Devin Harris took a huge stride this season and he is young with plenty of years ahead of him while Kidd has declined the last 2 seasons and is looking elsewhere for a championship contender, he doesn't think the Mavs fit the bill.

are you serious you would rather have jason kidd next season rather than devin harris. Kidd is one of the greatest point guards to play the game... well the better describing would be WAS. For the record devin harris was winning just as many games in dallas as jason kidd was. There is a lot of talent there and I bet even cuban regrets that trade

yes i would rather have kidd.... these are his points rebounds and assists this year compared to devin harris.....9.0 6.2 8.7 for kidd.... 21.3 3.3 6.9 for harris.... i will trade 12 points from my point guard on a team full of shooters like the mavericks.... for a point guard that will grab 3 more boards per game and dish out almost 2 more assists agame any day.... and you have to remember that devin was playing on a bad team... he wouldnt be a 20 point scorer if he was still on the mavs....

You don't think the Cavs could sweep the Mavs in a Playoff series? It's not like the Cavs didn't win both regular season match-ups vs the Mavs with a margin of victory over 50 points or anything They would. If not it would be a 4-1 series victory. It's not like the Atlanta Hawks were a terrible team, they were a decent team this season that came close to winning 50 games.

Cavaliers top Mavs 102-74 for 12th straight win - NBA - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2009032905) If you need a reminder of the previous match-up between the Cavs and Mavs.

LeBron is a joke? You're a genuine pig ignorant fuck. LeBron James is only 24 years of age, currently. LeBron has a lot of good Basketball ahead of him and a very talented supporting cast compared to when he first arrived in Cleveland and I'd bet that LeBron wins a championship long before that kraut Dirk. LeBron can take over games by himself when his team can't get the job done, see last night for example when he scored nearly 50 points. Dirk can't get the job done and carry his team when his supporting cast fails him, see the 2007 playoffs when Golden State a #8 seed shut him the fuck down in the 1st round of the NBA playoffs. A Dallas Maverick fan can't call anyone a joke when the biggest joke in the league plays on his team and not to mention all of Dallas' post-season blunders which include the biggest choke job in the NBA finals and numerous 1st round eliminations.

I think LeBron has a legitimate chance to be as good if not better than jordan assuming that he can stay healthy. He may not win as many championships as jordan, but Jordan did not win as many as Bill Russell. Keep in mind that I'm a Laker and Kobe fan I'm not saying this shit lightly. pfft the Magic's spirit crushed? I call a Magic win by 12+ in Game 3. They'll score 40 in the first quarter on something like 8-9 from 3 pt. Talk about a team playing ridiculous at home. Orlando shoots LIGHTS OUT. What's been really disappointing in this series with them is the fact that the Cavs have had 20+ pt leads and hold them as good as water in their hands. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

PFFFT... + Tayshaun Prince is the most underrated player in the NBA on both sides of the court... Chauncy is gonna be the reason why melo is gonna mature 5x faster

Either way the conference finals is way better than i thought it was going to be.

I think Denver's front court is wayy to active and quick for the front line of the cavs. Kenyon Martin , NENE and Birdman will tear up Z, Verajao , and joe smith

I honestly dont know who is going to make it. At first I thought it was a lock for a cavs lakers finals, but after watching it is to close to call.

I really hope it is Lakers and Cavs in the finals so I can see Kobe go at Lebron. I'm a huge Kobe fan but lets be realalistic he has played 12 full nba seasons (14 if you include playoffs) The gold medal this summer. Sooner rather than later he is going to start declining. pfft the Magic's spirit crushed? I call a Magic win by 12+ in Game 3. They'll score 40 in the first quarter on something like 8-9 from 3 pt. Talk about a team playing ridiculous at home. Orlando shoots LIGHTS OUT. What's been really disappointing in this series with them is the fact that the Cavs have had 20+ pt leads and hold them as good as water in their hands. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

ok so 2 pts off. The Cavs have reverted to two years ago as a reporter pointed out in the post game. It's LeBron James and the Cavs, not LeBron James, Moe Williams, Anderson Varajeo, and the Cavs. Someone's gotta step-up if they are to win.

To be fair Lebrons supporting cast is not making there shots. Mo, bigz, and west are not playing well. Orlando has so much talent and there starting to really show some championship calibur potential. Lebron is only averaging 41 points for the series your right dunder he aint shit :P

lebron didnt have the best night shooting. Mo Williams / Delonte West need to hit their shots and SOMEBODY needs to pull a Hack-A-Howard. There is no way he can be stopped when he's got such low position in the paint. and when he heats up from the inside it opens up the deadly 3pt shooters, If Turkoglu shot well yesterday it would have been a blowout. still he almost got a triple double... Im so looking forward to tonights lakers - nuggets game, hopefully i can stay awake.

Anonymous Nuggets player accuses Lakers of buying a win
May 28, 2009 · Filed Under Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, News
The Denver Post (Mark Kiszla) reports after the Lakers beat the Nuggets in Game 5: In an accusation that goes straight to the heart of the sport’s integrity, one member of the Nuggets shook his head in disgust after the game, and could not believe how cheap it was for Los Angeles to buy a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference finals. “The Lakers paid $50,000 to win that game. They got their money’s worth,” said a Denver player, not wanting to be identified for fear of retribution from the league. Was the outcome rigged? I refuse to believe it was. The 16 field-goal attempts the Nuggets missed during the fourth quarter had much more to do with the defeat than any of the 30 personal fouls called against Denver by the referees.

I also refuse to believe this rumor. Nuggets almost won the game. You can tell how much these 2 teams wanted to win if you watched the game. The thing is, they missed a lot of shots, even freethrows, and made too many fouls (like Nene, getting fouled out). Please don't tell me they made up all that drama then just lose the game in the end coz the game was "sold" to the Lakers? If this is true, the Nuggets deserve a nomination to the Oscars, coz their acting talent was superb and very realistic.

I've read a few articles/watched news about this, Lebron kinda said like, he'll think about it. He supposed to sign the extension on July 18. He seems happy and proud with his team despite their recent loss, like he said the team improved a lot etc.. and "you want to continue, to get better", so from that, idk if he's gonna leave the cavs. but who knows.

Anyway, i wonder what happened to the guy who made Nike believe that its a Kobe-Lebron Finals? :haha: he/she is so screwed now.. lol (this is like deja vu, i think i posted this as a comment over youtube... :hehe: )

Its only game 1 though.. im happy LA won game 1, Kobe was awesome, love some of the drives he's made.. kinda disappointed Ariza didnt really step up.. but he made a few good shots. i still ♥'s him :D  for LA's defense..

2nd half, it was not how i expected Magic to play.. I was expecting 3-pointers.. idk what happened.

Who do guys think should guard Kobe? i mean, from magic..

This series has the 2007 Finals written all over it. The Lakers sweep the Magic just like the Spurs swept the Cavs. The Lakers have Odom, Gasol and Bynum to guard Dwight Howard. The Magic clearly don't have anyone that can slow Kobe down. Kobe could have scored 50 if he was not on the bench after the game became out of hand.

The magic are to good to start busting out the broom. If they win the next 2 games then I will get on board the sweep express. I am happy so far though :D

The Lakers will win in 4 or 5. Orlando can't compete with them, especially if they can't shoot. The Lakers have too many big men and more athletic tall guys to compete with the Magic. And they have a guy named Kobe.

I have to agree. Binum and Gasol did so well guarding Superman, making it so obvious that Howard is nothin but a dunker.. Their defense was impressive.

and this is fresh from EZStreetShow.com got this a few minutes ago...

3 games in orlando. I am thinking Lakers 6

I think when odom plays well the lakers are almost unbeatable. I mean you always know your going to get a good game from bryant. Gasol is consistent, but when odom plays awesome they are fantastic :D

game 2 was awesome.. i think magic really played well in that game. Turk.. wow! however, there were a few things i hated about the production..or who ever was broadcasting that game.. First, before the game started, the "hosts" or however you call those guys.. their voices were delayed, or was on mute for a long time.. lol next, was when Gasol was making a difficult shot and the cam focused on Rashard Lewis sitting on their bench.. wtf?

Anyway, lets see the next game...

:rah: GO LAKERS! :rah:

Magic won 106-108.. its alright. i think Magic really did well. I also think if Kobe didn't miss those FT's, those points would've helped. Again, comment on the production.. lol it sucks. Coverage was boring lol.. i'd rather hear Charles Barkley's annoying comments..

The tnt crew is way better (except reggie miller) I am glad the magic won so it makes it a better series but I am still nervous. The sooner the better the lakers win in orlando the better I feel. I dont think they can trust homecourt to carry them to the trophy

LAKERS 99-91! Idk what happened, but LA was struggling in the first few hours of the game.. Kobe seemed to have an injured finger.. and was not shooting well.. :( a few highlights: Ariza and the tantrum! lol i still think he's a cutie... ♥♥♥ He did well.. made a few steals and shots.. he contributed a lot. Derek Fisher, made the 3-pointer that tied the game and took it to OT! :yay: i think, him and Ariza really did well!

Again not happy with the refs.. they were foul-happy and just kept giving out bad calls! i mean, for both teams wtf? anyway, LA will win this series. :P
